You're sitting in a kooosh chair, your bare feet sliding back and forth on the eucalyptus wood floors as your eyes wander past tropical plants and up into the mountains.......
Walking out onto the deck you see boogie boards, masks and fins and an impulse grabs you and drags you down to the beach and throws you into the wonderful waves of Waimanalo.
Congratulations, you're boogie boarding for the first time in your life.... a few minutes later, rinsing your feet back on the deck, you're handed a maitai and instructed to turn over the ahi steaks on the grill.... This is a good life and the price of paradise is well worth it.
This house features a sliding glass door in the large master bedroom that goes to the back deck. Entering the house you see the beautiful floors and stereo that sound great because of the cathedral ceilings that grace the living room, A TV/DVD with cable are all set up next to the sofa, and plenty of air from the beach passes through the large windows. Moving past the circular dining room table, a bar counter top leads into the full kitchen where many a mean bbq will be conceived.
The washer/dryer, off street parking, air conditioning, and incredible views of the Ko'olau Mountains are "icing on the cake." This is a spacious house and has a lot of attractive art, furniture and flooring.... it's great for a family or couples traveling together.
This house lends itself to people who like to relax on the beach and yet be close enough to run home for that refill. Just steps to Waimanalo Beach gives you an affordable home in paradise. Waimanalo Beach is five miles of white sand.... walk to see the turtles at the rock outcrop and enjoy the spectacular sunrises. This is a great beach for kids with an outer reef to block the big waves, white sand, so no coral to tear up tiny feet. It's a great place to learn to boogie board and ride the waves.

We have lived in Waimanalo for 15+ years and think there is no better place to live. With the Ko'olau Mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, Waimanalo is a dramatic and beautiful place to call home, even if only during your vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Waimanal is located on the east side of Oahu; only 30 minutes from Pearl Harbor, Waikiki and the airport; only 45 minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center; and an hour from the North Shore. A short drive and you are at Hanauma Bay or on a hike to a waterfall. Although Waimanalo is a very small town, within 15 minutes you can be at any number of restaurants. You have it all in Waimanalo.... the town that time forgot.
We provide boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, all our houses have Internet as well.

Aloha, we live in the neighborhood and are raising our two girls here. Kini is a woodworker and all around handy man, yogi, sailor, and great dad. Ana handles all guest inquiries, is a sailor and swimmer and the homeschool teacher for our two daughters. Our entire family dances hula with Halau Hula O'Maiki. You will often see us at the beach with Kia & Poki, our trusty ilios (dogs).

"What a nice home away from home, and a great boogie boarding beach! Beach House Hawaii is a cool place to chill out and relax. Only went to Waikiki once for a couple of hours this time because we wanted to get back to boogie baord! Thanks for the use of the snorkel gear and boogie boards that came in handy. What a wonderful place to stay - So different from the "snow" we left in Wakarusa, Indiana. The Beach is beautiful - so soft! and water was great. It was so nice to have our very own "house" just down from the beach. This was our 35th and what a way to celebrate that "Wedding Anniversary." Thanks Ana & Kini, We love your place!
