If you are looking for a beautiful place to call home while you enjoy the amazing Rocky Mountains, our cabin is perfect. Imagine relaxing by the warm stone fireplace or sitting out on the deck at sunset with blue skies and gorgeous mountain views. The cabin is tucked in the trees with the privacy of an acre and a pond and spring close-by. Elk, deer and other wildlife love this location to hang out year around. Just a short walk takes you to the banks of the Big Thompson river. After a full day of hiking, cross-country skiing, sightseeing, fishing or climbing, you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation.
This historic cabin was originally built in the early 1900's and has been updated with modern conveniences and a lovely warm decor, now available for your family to enjoy. You will feel right at home with the comfortable furnishings and views in all directions. Each bedroom is furnished with comfortable beds and quality linens and plenty of windows to gaze at the stars or watch a heard of elk or deer lounge in the grass. The kitchen has been updated with beautiful silestone countertops and is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your favorite meal. The dining room and living room look out toward Lumpy's Ridge and the Rocky Mountain National Park's swow-capped peaks.
The two decks, swings held up by ponderosa pines and the beautiful rock outcroppings offer wonderful opportunities for relaxing while wildlife watching, star gazing or time to read. There are two picnic tables and a gas grill for outdoor dining. The neighborhood is laced with quiet gravel roads for an evening stroll. We love our home in the rockies and know you will, too.
