Beautiful cabin! Furniture and all decor were gorgeous. Tastefully and cleanly decorated. Extra large shower and jacuzzi tub were nice, as was hot tub. Washer/dryer were also a huge plus; it was nice not to have to haul dirty laundry back home. We enjoyed our stay greatly and highly recommend this cabin!! Our only disappointment is that the cabin was not as secluded like we had hoped. Though it was at the end of the cul-de-sac, it was still sandwiched between 2 other cabins. Views may be disappointing to some, but were okay with us, seeing as we spent most of our time sight-seeing in town. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This cabin is in an excellent location, close enough to Smoky Mountain attractions yet secluded from the hustle and bustle of Parkway traffic. The cabin had everything we needed, fully equipped. The owner is amicable and easy to work with and obviously takes pride in her beautifully appointed cabin.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. We try to come to the mountains every year for a little get away for our anniversary and your cabin is the nicest one we have ever stayed in. Everything was very up to date, convenient and very comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful area and it was a great location. The only slight draw back for us was that it is not very secluded. We loved watching the Zipline go by. Thanks again!

We had the pleasure of staying in this Cabin 12/27/11 thru 1/1/12. I highly recommend it. The cabin is spacious, beautiful and spotless with much attention to detail. It was easy to get to and centrally located. As for Camelle, you cannot ask for a better landlord, she thought of every detail and was very helpful. We look forward to returning back to TN and will certainly be returning to this Cabin. P.S. My grandson loved the Indians in the loft area & watching the zip liners go by from the back deck!!!

Memory Filled Vacation

This cabin was in a word, beautiful. It provided our family great comfort during our adventure packed visit to the Smokies. The serenity of sitting on the deck with cup of coffee in the morning, relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking, grilling out a quick meal at 10 o'clock at night because you simply could, retiring nightly to beds that were perfectly comfortable. I could go on with reasons for returning to this place time and again. The beauty and adventure of the Smoky Mountains was a great change of pace from our beach vacations. However, our visit would not have been nearly as enjoyable without the comfort and happiness that this cabin provided. Thank you for allowing us to share your wonderful property.

I rented this cabin for myelf and my two teen girls. In the words of my girls ... "Mom, we could live here full-time, it's so nice!" The cabin was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The resort was quiet and we rode the zip line for half price (twice!). The pool area was clean. I especially appreciated the abundance of clean towels provided. The king bed in the master was very comfortable. My kids slept in the loft and enjoyed the pool table and TV there. The decor was as fabulous as the photos depicted and Camelle, you are very nice to work with. I am already thinking about a trip next summer with my husband and two younger children back to this cabin and the incredible Smoky Mountains. I only spent 2 full days in the park but the next time I think we will spend much more time exploring nature's incredible bounty there. The only thing that didn't work was the DVD player in the living room, but we all piled into the master king and watched our movies there. Thanks Camelle for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic Cabin!

My wife and I recently celebrated our 10th anniversary and were fortunate enough to stay at the cabin. Lots of room, very clean, and it was a great place to unwind after a full day of adventures. Just close enough to not spend too much time in your vehicle going to and from town. The cabin is tucked away from most of the others on the property... very quiet. You'll hear an occasional zip liner going by but that just made us want to try it more! We highly recommend the zip line... really fun. We even walked down to the pool for a change of scenery... also very clean. It's good to use GPS to get on the main road to the cabin but not for an exact location. Our GPS unit told us that we "had arrived" outside of a less than stellar home... funny now but not so funny then :) So glad we stayed... you should do the same!

Terrific Place to Unwind

Zip Line Fun

Great cabin, very well maintained, and was spotless for our visit. Camelle takes pride in ownership and you can tell it the minute you walk in. The cabin was correctly represented on the VRBO web site and lived up to our expectations.It fit our needs for a great visit to the Smokies and The Biltmore. The Zip Line at half-price was the extra bonus that sold us on renting this cabin from the owner Camelle and not just a rental agent.

This is the most wonderful cabin I have ever stayed in. Its a great spot for an anniversary, honey moon, or fun family trip. I missed the zip lines and the spa near by but just adored the place. The view out back is breathe taking! The hot tub in the cold winter makes for a cozy time outdoors. I loved everything all the way down to the layout. Absolutely worth the time and the money. If I had to do it all again, I would have stayed off the parkway and not left the cabin during our stay!

Camelle, The recent stay in your cabin was absolutely comforting and relaxing. Waking up to the donkeys was a wonderful surprise. As always we enjoy our stay and look forward to the next one. The cabin is not only a great location, but in a quiet one. It's well maintained and is filled with everything you need for a comforting stay. Wouldn't stay anywhere else but in your cabins! The hot tub is the highlight along with the zip line. Its a place to relax and have total privacy! It's just a little piece of heaven and our college kids loved the loft with the pool table and their own place to hang out.

Camelle, It was very nice to have the opportunity to meet you in person. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 20th anniversary in your lovely cabin. The cabin was beautiful. What was lacking by a full mountain view was quickly made up by the cleanliness of the cabin & the JOY of waking up to the cows & donkeys in the pasture each morning. It truly was an ideal get away location. Though you have neighbors next to you the lay out of the resort is very private. Like I said above the sound of the donkeys each morning was great. If I didnt hear them I found myself getting our of bed each morning to look for them. Watching the rainbow of colors settle behind the mountain, we could see, was beautiful each evening. At night the moon could be seen through the top window in the den. It was beautiful. I found myself going out back next to my pool when we got home & looking at the moon...its way prettier up a mountain than it is at the beach!! The afternoons spent on the balcony listening & watching the people on the zip lines was great. It made the anticipation of doing them ourselves even greater. Let me tell you..WHAT A RIDE! I encourage everyone, young & old, to do the zip lines..they are GREAT! The guides are fully trained & very entertaining. We also would recommend the Cirqe de Chine show. It was a fantastic show full of various performances all from China. The theater was beautiful as well. Your directions were spot on...made it very easy no matter which direction we came from. Again thank you so much for allowing us to spend 12 nights in your beautiful home. We look forward to possibly coming again in February to see the snow. The leaves were beautiful.....now its time to see the snow. plus I just want to hear the donkeys again:) Shannon & Michael Matlaga

This cabin is so nice, we spent a week here and had a great time. I loved the deck with the hot tub. Very private. It is exactly like the pictures and is so comfortable inside with so much space! Beautiful location and beautiful cabin. Wish I could run down every weekend! I would recommend this rental to everyone!

We had an amazing time while we stayed at cabin. I walked in and I felt like I was in a brand new cabin. It was so clean and presented extremely well. If needed, you can really fit 8 people comfortably. The hot tub that is in the back was a hit. Very relaxing. The view was beautiful and the rates were great for what we received. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is vising the TN area. Camelle is a great owner and keeps the place up like she is there everyday. Thank you for sharing your cabin with my family and I. I would have to say the Cabin was beautiful and looked as great as it did in the pictures. The zip-lining was in the same area as the cabin, which was very convenient. Can't wait to get back and stay in the cabin again. Make sure you get a chance to check out the indoor skydiving and the Zorb as well!!!!

You'll Enjoy This Place

Since this was my first visit to the southeast (I live in Oregon) I was in for nothing but new experiences. All of them, including this cabin, were wonderful. The cabin served as our base while we were in the area attending the Oregon/Tennessee football game, and we stayed in the cabin for four nights. The location was idea, out of town a bit for the quiet life and closer to the Smoky's but not far from the action in Knoxville. The cabin was well appointed and the on-line description was highly accurate. We took advantage of the hot tub and the gas barbecue, and even played a bit of pool in the loft. Everything worked including the wireless internet access. It was a great place!!! We even tried out the zip line. Since we had a 50% discount for staying at the cabin we figured "why not". It was fun but I'm not the biggest thrill seeker out there so I passed on a 2nd opportunity. My adult daughter and her husband loved it though and went back again. Let me end by saying the people of the Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia area are incredible. They were so interested in making sure we were being treated well. We traveled to Nashville, Memphis and Chattanooga as well. This trip goes down as one of our best vacations ever. Rich & Tanya Cook Eugene, Oregon

Family Vacation

We did really enjoyed there for 4 relaxing days as mostly in the mornings and evenings while gone out during the day for tons of fun in Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg during the week with less crowd. This cabin is very nice with alot of room space and cozy! Pool table upstairs was entertaining fun to do at late nights. Zip line can be seen in backyard as far out behind the trees which wowed us! We did tried the zip line and LOVE it! (Thanks for the half price during the stay) Applewood Farm is not far drive and a must go there for eat anything with apples in it :-) Thanks, Camelle!

We had a lovely time at Straight from the Heart.....the amenities, the beautiful aroma, the warm and cozy feeling upon entering were wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, the big, big beds, and we enjoyed zipping through the forest on Wahoo ziplines.... a great, but all too short, stay.

What a beautiful cabin to spend a weekend for our girls trip. The cabin is just as the pictures described. BEAUTIFUL! The ziplines were fantastic and close enough to walk down. Close enough to the Parkway and shopping but far enough out it was so peaceful. Our biggest complaint is it was Rod Run weekend and traffic was horrible. Took 1 1/2 hours to get from Gatlinburg to PF, but this is certainly not your fault. Your book was very helpful with the maps, helped us get around on the backroads. The back deck with the hot tub was perfect after day of zip lining and shopping. We certainly will be back and I am looking to book a weekend for me and my husband to spend a long weekend real soon. Thanks Camelle for a wonderful place to stay! PS. Wish we could do something with the Donkeys.......

We enjoyed "Straight from the Heart" for 7 wonderful days while we celebrated our 6th Anniversary. This cabin is beautifully decorated and although we did not expect to have other cabins so close it was suprisingly very quite! We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the back porch which turned out to be our favorite place to hang out especially while it rained. We watched the people ride the zipline which runs directly behind the cabins. We would recommend this cabin to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and even smelled good! It was a little cool and rainy while we were there, but we had a nice comfy warm cabin to stay in. We saw several people on the zip lines while there. The cabin is close to shopping, but out enough that it was scenic. Thank you, Camelle, for allowing us to enjoy this cabin. What a wonderful cabin to stay in. This cabin is so clean and very well maintained, you can't pass it up..especially with the low prices!! Straight from the heart is located near many attractions and the Smoky Mtn National Park. Upon arrival having direct access to the cabin was great. The cabin is very clean and has all the ammenities you would find in your own home. This cabin slept 8 of us. We love the fact that you have 2 king size beds and 2 pull out beds. Plenty of room for all to sleep. From the children to the teenagers and two couples that went a great time was had by all. Whether you visited the local attractions or stayed in and played pool or sit on the back deck rocking while others in the hot tub you were entertained..Having the Wahoo Ziplines at the resort was great too. We could see people on the lines having a great time.. Not to mention you get half off the price if you do the zipline yourself, for staying in the cabin! The owners have really taken the time to think of their guests. I have already visited this cabin twice and have planned another trip in August. We love this cabin and look forward to spending time with friends and enjoying the sights around us. We loved the donkey!! We highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg area. You will not be disappointed. You could not ask for a more pleasant cabin or owners to speak. You can tell that they really love this cabin and much love and thought was put into it. We look forward to many trips in the Smoky Mountains and plan to stay at this cabin.

We very much enjoyed spending our 11th wedding anniversary at Straight from the Heart. We were married in Gatlinburg 11 years ago and have returned every year to celebrate. This year, we chose to stay here, and we're so glad we did. This is a beautiful home, with all the conveniences and luxuries you could hope to have at your disposal. The hot tub and back porch were so enjoyable. We really loved relaxing in this cabin, and enjoyed the location, along with the zipline right next to it. We look forward to returning to this wonderful home.

Dearest Camelle. I am the mother of the groom Tim that spent the few days in your beautiful cabin and had his wedding there.This was one of the most beautiful cabins that I believe I have seen. I know Tim and Shannon had a wonderful time and thank you so much for sharing it with us and letting it be a part of their Special Day.I do know that it will be with Tim and Shannon and our whole family for a lifetime.I do believe Tim and Shannon will want to stay there in the future.Hope we get the pleasure of meeting someday soon.

Thank you Camelle for allowing us to experience your cabin for 6 nights while our cabin is being renovated. What a treat!!The beds are quite comfortable and cozy, we didn't want to leave. We don't have the opportunity to stay in other cabins in the area because we are owners ourselves, but I must say I wouldn't hesitate to book with you again. I loved the desk looking out over the garden in the front of the cabin especially when it was snowing, which it did quite often during our stay, quiet and serene. We saw people enjoying the zip line today, wow that must have been cold, but looked fun, will have to try it ourselves when the weather is a tad warmer. We loved our stay and hope to book with you again. Thanks and have a great day.

What can I say...wow...the cabin is more beautiful in person that in the pictures. We had a wonderful time and everything was provided that we needed. The hot tub was great even when we had snow...The cabin is so romantic and cosy I just wanted to stay forever. Thanks Camelle for sharing your cabin with us. We will be back year after year. I ahve already made my resevation for the fall but we may come in the summer if there is an opening! Thanks again!

We only stayed in the cabin 5 nights and it wasn't enough time. It was the nicest place we ever stayed in. We loved it so much we booked it for 3 wks. next Oct. It was tranquill, and very soothing to see all the lovely decorations and little sayings that was on the walls. It was finding a little bit of heaven on earth. Camille was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with in rentals. We enjoyed every part of it includint the location. Watch out for the mules, they say good morning everyday between 7 and 7:30. (hilarious)

I just got home from my stay at your beautiful cabin,it is a great place to stay. It's very clean, beautifully decorated, and very cozy. The jacuzzi and fireplace in the bedroom was awesome and the bed was so comfortable. The living room is quite large, the best I have ever had at any cabin I have stayed at.The cabin is very convenient to shopping and attractions. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with me.

The cabin was absolutely perfect! It was a wonderful weekend getaway for us. The cabin was beautifully furnished and made us feel right at home. We tried out the Wahoo Zipline, and it was a blast! We highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!

Just returned home from a most relaxing time. Why in the world would anyone stay anywhere else after finding this place!?! Clean, cozy, secluded we really didn't want to go into town. The hot tub was wonderful and sitting on the back porch and watching the sun come up was so peaceful. We will be back again and again. Oh, and we loved the mules!!!

First I have to say this is the place we have been looking for. What you see online is not always what you get when you arrive. The cabin was not only clean but was everything we could have ask for. The nights we spent on the back deck are to die for. Peace and quiet and just an over all great place.We will book again, and you should too if you are looking for that special place to call your own...

From the location, to the property itself, it was awesome! The owner is so nice and makes sure you are happy! The Wahoo Zip Lines are a MUST DO as well! Brought my laptop, and the wi-fi was perfect! Recommend this place to everyone!

What started out to be a 2 night stay ended up being a week. I can't believe how warm and cozy this cabin was. We came here to visit and get away for a few days and this was just what we needed.The pictures do not do justice to what the cabin really looks like inside. We loved the easy access and the no check in was great. We will be back for Christmas for sure... thanks for letttting us stay it was a pleasure!
