Maui Vista #3417 is located on the top floor in BUILDING #3 of this popular 10 acre tropical garden resort, providing exceptional privacy and quiet. Our Maui Vista condo is surrounded by flowering plumeria trees, whispering palm fronds (directly outside of our lanai window), flowering green gardens & lawns, with a peekaboo Western ocean view, plus magnificent views of the West Maui Mountains. Be entertained by the tropical birds as they sing and fly between our tree tops.

The living room and dinning area are spacious and look out onto the private lanai with nightly 'palm tree/ocean SUNSETS'. We have installed a new Energy Star- air conditioner in the living room (May 2011) and ceiling fans in every room throughout the condo. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a gourmet tropical meal or just a piece of toast.
We maintain our condo in the best condition possible, including regular dry cleaning of upholstery, comforters, pillows and drapes as well as steam cleaning the carpets on a regular basis! We have a variety of designer comforters that we change regularly. This is our home and we take pride in our guests' accommodations.
Unique to our Maui Vista condo; the LOFT bedroom has an EXTRA SLEEPING area, a COMPUTER DESK & ENTERTAINMENT AREA, as well as a ONE-OF-A-KIND ENLARGED SPA BATHROOM- The shower has 5-SHOWER HEADS and a shower bench for your comfort. The toilet has it's separate room!
Maui Vista Resort is conveniently located in sunny South Maui across the street from Charley Young Beach (our personal favorite) and Kamaole Beach I, which is ideal for lap swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, beach-walking and watching heavenly sunsets! All three Kamaole Beaches have Lifeguards on duty. Maui Vista is easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, several So. Kihei beaches and the Maui public bus/ shuttle.

Why the Owner Chose Maui Vista
Kihei is still an Hawaiian beach town. We wanted it ALL- a safe neighborhood, walk to Maui's best beaches, diving and snorkeling, palm trees and nightly ocean sunsets. Maui Vista is centrally located within walking distance to shops, dining, surf lessons, groceries, beach rentals, public transportation and more. You can choose to play on numerous local golf courses. Kihei is located minutes from Wailea (shopping and resorts). We wanted to own a condo that we could allow the teens to walk (on their own) to various locations, safe for little ones to play on the grounds, but quiet enough for total relaxation. Our condo is truly a retreat home away from home!

Our Maui Vista condo is located in QUIET building three away from the main street. Every morning you can look out at the ocean and watch the tropical birds in the palm trees (one almost within an arms reach!) or look out over beautiful Plumaria trees and tropical gardens. And, every evening there is an unbelievable sunset visible from out Lanai. Six sets of Championship tennis courts and a barbecue/picnic area are just downstairs. One of the three Maui Vista's gated pools is located minutes from the door! Our gardens have beautiful tropical flowers and a variety of trees, grassy areas and paved walking trails to the main road and beach. While staying in the condo you will have all the conveniences of home. Maui Vista offers a full service concierge desk for your convenience.

Aloha!
Alan and Laurie both grew up in California, and we LOVE the ocean & beaches. It has always been a dream of Alan's to retire in Hawaii. As an avid scuba diver, golfer,and outdoors man, Maui is perfect for him. Laurie enjoys reading under the palms, walking on the beach, snorkeling, open water aerobics, yoga and recently took up a life long passion to paint outdoors with other artists. Having our own piece of paradise that we call "Home" is awesome! Sharing Maui with our family (3 grown kids and grandchildren) as well as good friends has been some of our fondest memories! We hope that you will enjoy exploring Maui as much as we do and will want to keep coming back.

Lanai door open wide inviting in the cooling breezes and watching the grass skirt of the hula dancer lamp gently swing on her hips. That's just one of the novel thing about this wonderful condo. My husband and I loved the high ceilings and the loaded kitchen. They had guide books for us, beach mats, an umbrella, an ice chest- every thing we needed for the short walk across the street to the beach. Being in Bldg #3 paid off in being free of traffic noises so every morning I could sip my coffee in peace and enjoy the peekaboo view, not to mention a frequent congregation of colorful and exotic birds who liked our lanai. We planned to move to a resort for the last 2 days but ended up extending out stay at Maui Vista instead. It was too nice having our own washer drier and the upstairs shower was nice, big and had multiple jets-- who needs a resort? They even had chocolates waiting for us! Anyone who stays here will appreciate the location, easy parking, proximity of shopping & beach, complimentary concierge service and amenities. PS-- walking distance: up the street is the Kehei Cafe for the BEST Breakfast in town, down the street is Taquaria Cruz for 2$ tacos and BYOB.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

The 2bed/2bath condo in Maui Vista was lovely! The place was spotless, and the kitchen was organized and stocked with every kind of ware you might need for cooking, grilling, storing leftovers, etc. It seemed every time we needed something ("I could really use a paper towel, ziplock bag, tin foil, ice cream scoop,..."), we'd find it there! No need to constantly run to the store. The location was perfect for us - across the street from a fantastic, uncrowded beach and about a mile away from what is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Kihei (Cuatro). If I have a chance to return to Maui, I'd absolutely book this place again!

Very accommodating for a family of 6 in the heart of Maui- This unit has everything that you need. Fully equipped kitchen, new washer and dryer. The balcony is nice to sit on and watch the birds. It is a short walk to the beach. Maui Vista is kept impeccably clean. Good security. The unit had beach chairs and a cooler with ice packs to go to the beach.

Not a spacious rental - but then, it's pretty hard to find a spacious rental on Maui. Very good location...walking distance of good restaurants and across the street and down a block from good swimmable beach. The unit was clean and being in the back of the complex it was quieter than being on the busy street. All in all, a good value and we would stay here again. Mahalo. Owner's remarks: We are fortunate to have the BIGGEST 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo at Maui Vista. We have the ONLY CONDO that has been enlarged and enclosed with a solid wall and plantation shutters on the upstairs loft for privacy. The upstairs bathroom has also been enlarged.

My husband and I along with our 4 daughters stayed here in April. We had an amazing time. This condo has everything you need for a holiday. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very fitting to Maui theme. There was everything from beach chairs a cooler to ziplock bags. Everything has been thought of to make your stay that much easier. The condo was very clean and well organized. Your one block from one of the best beaches in Maui. We really like the fact that when we arrived there was detailed information on where to eat and where not to eat. The grounds of the property are very well kept along with the 3 pools. There are two barbecues to use (Webers) which my husband enjoyed. We highly recommend renting this condo.

1/08 to 2/05/09 Arrived 1/08 with more humidity in the awe of creation than my spirit has ever experienced... Thank you for allowing us to come into your home, we are truly grateful and have the utmost respect for other people's property. We will take good care of it as though it were our own and enjoy all that you have allowed us to. The boys arrived on the 23rd, Nick has never seen a palm tree (wow). Nate really liked the awesome water, especially along the cliffs on the road to Hana. We had a wonderful time. Dawn & I saw some sunsets & stayed on the beach most days. She is quite the sun goddess!!! Broke 2 teacups, fixed the handle on one (sorry). Love the way everything is labeled. Easy to keep in order. I leave you with 2 pans, one pasta strainer with lid and a large teflon skillet with lid. Compliments of the---- Family. Replaced the Basil & bought replacement zip bags... Thank you for letting us use your place. You have done a nice job Redecorating. The only drawback to these condos is privacy- we sure could tell there were Newlyweds- I could hear the neighbor and the 'pillow-talk' from the floor below (boy she really loves him)!!! (from the lanai) B-B-Que grills are great, windows are not- (the neighbors below didn't close them!) The Lords creation is magnificent. Hawaiian culture and history pretty cool.
