Our Stay at MV 221566 was great! It is very comfortable and decorated very tastefully. The kitchen is the best stocked we've seen! Knives and cutting boards and pots and pans galore!! There was plenty of room for our family of four. The complex is located within walking to shops and restaurants, in the heart of Kihei. The grounds, and pools (3 of them) are very well maintained and clean. Only criticism, and not the fault of the unit, there is no view. The unit looks out onto the parking lot and the complex next door, so if you are dreaming of even a slice of the ocean or beach, you will have to walk to it! Also within a 5 min walk! I would recommend this unit!

Since our condo is the third building back from the street noise, we sure enjoy waking up to check the ocean conditions out from Cove Park and the nightly colorful ocean sunsets from the lanai. The flowering trees have grown over the years and are starting to block some of our view of the ocean out on the horizon. We hope you come back again and join the family that call our condo their home away from home!

Fabulous stay at the Maui Vista

We stayed at the Maui Vista and are so glad that we had this condo to come home to every night! There were seven of us at the condo including a very active four year old. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, the rooms were clean and the upgraded shower was such a treat! The pool, though small, was convenient and our little guy really enjoyed it. Charlie Young beach was just steps away and the great choice of restaurants really gave us a taste of all the cuisine options available in the Kihei area. This was a standout in what was an incredible family vacation! We will definitely be booking it again for 2013!

Lanai door open wide inviting in the cooling breezes and watching the grass skirt of the hula dancer lamp gently swing on her hips. That's just one of the novel thing about this wonderful condo. My husband and I loved the high ceilings and the loaded kitchen. They had guide books for us, beach mats, an umbrella, an ice chest- every thing we needed for the short walk across the street to the beach. Being in Bldg #3 paid off in being free of traffic noises so every morning I could sip my coffee in peace and enjoy the peekaboo view, not to mention a frequent congregation of colorful and exotic birds who liked our lanai. We planned to move to a resort for the last 2 days but ended up extending out stay at Maui Vista instead. It was too nice having our own washer drier and the upstairs shower was nice, big and had multiple jets-- who needs a resort? Anyone who stays here will appreciate the location, easy parking, proximity of shopping & beach, complimentary concierge service and amenities. PS-- walking distance: up the street is the Kehei Cafe for the BEST Breakfast in town, down the street is Taquaria Cruz for 2$ tacos and BYOB.

The 2bed/2bath condo in Maui Vista was lovely! The place was spotless, and the kitchen was organized and stocked with every kind of ware you might need for cooking, grilling, storing leftovers, etc. It seemed every time we needed something ("I could really use a paper towel, ziplock bag, tin foil, ice cream scoop,..."), we'd find it there! No need to constantly run to the store. The location was perfect for us - across the street from a fantastic, uncrowded beach and about a mile away from what is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Kihei (Cuatro). If I have a chance to return to Maui, I'd absolutely book this place again!

My husband and I along with our 4 daughters stayed here in April. We had an amazing time. This condo has everything you need for a holiday. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very fitting to Maui theme. There was everything from beach chairs a cooler to ziplock bags. Everything has been thought of to make your stay that much easier. The condo was very clean and well organized. Your one block from one of the best beaches in Maui. We really like the fact that when we arrived there was detailed information on where to eat and where not to eat. The grounds of the property are very well kept along with the 3 pools. There are two barbecues to use (Webers) which my husband enjoyed. We highly recommend renting this condo.

Not a spacious rental - but then, it's pretty hard to find a spacious rental on Maui. Very good location...walking distance of good restaurants and across the street and down a block from good swimmable beach. The unit was clean and being in the back of the complex it was quieter than being on the busy street. All in all, a good value and we would stay here again. Mahalo. Owner's remarks: We are fortunate to have the BIGGEST 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo at Maui Vista. We have the ONLY CONDO that has been enlarged and enclosed with a solid wall and plantation shutters on the upstairs loft for privacy. The upstairs bathroom has also been enlarged.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your very comfortable home. We had everything we need- right down to the playpen & highchair. What a huge relief it was to have to worry about those things. We loved spending every morning at the beach- what a great beach. All the beach gear came in very handy, especially the sand toys which our little guy (2) throughly enjoyed. The weather was fabulous. Our first trip to HI, but it wn't be our last. We will most certianly be in touch the next time!

Hello Laurie, I just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for the use of your condo for our 3 week adventure on Maui. We had a great time; a much needed break. Your condo was wonderful. We were thrilled that everything was so clean. We did end up at Hope Chapel and enjoyed the service very much; thanks for that. All Save Car Rental was a good savings, and Ken from 5 Star was super. At one point the key broke off in the door lock, but Ken was 'johhny on the spot' and got us in right away. I thought I'd let you know that the knob on one of the bedroom table lamps broke. We replaced it with one from home depot, but it came in a pack of two so there is another spare in the closet. The beach umbrella was a casualty before we got there, but we did leave a new Body Glove boogie board for the next crew. All in all, your condo was perfect and we were very grateful to be there. We are thinking of heading back in a couple of years (or sooner) and would love to stay there again if you are still renting. Thanks again, and God Bless,

I can’t even begin to thank you enough for the rental of your condo! Our stay last week was incredible and a great time was had by all!! I did not get a chance to write in your guest book but I will post a review on the VRBO website. Your home was perfect for the six of us and it had everything we could possibly need or want!! We bought an additional boogie board and left it in the closet for you as a thank you! The ice maker was still not working, but it was not a problem for us. Ken came and checked it out and it made a few ice cubes, then stopped again. He bought some bags of ice and left for us and then we purchased a couple more, so no problem. Ken was great, welcomed us and was available if we needed. The boys tried surfing, some were successful! We did the road to Hana part way, incredible! The Lahaina Luau was a real treat! I think my favorite was just hanging on the beach. The best beach we experienced was Palaeua (sp?) Thursday night, only 8 people on the beach, a cooler of beer and a beautiful sunset! Life does not get better than that!!! It was really a GREAT vacation and we will definitely refer your place to our friends!! Thanks again so much!!! Marie

3/28 to 4/8/10 Thank you for making our first Maui experience such a wonderful one! Starting with your car rental company "All Save". Thank you for the recommendation for that! The staff are wonderful & so was our car! The condo really made our trip feel comfortable like home. We love the decor and we all slept so well. Very relaxing atmosphere and well stocked with everything we needed. I will e-mail you some photos when we get home. We were busy everyday with site seeing & pretty much drove around the whole island. Thought the Charley Young Beach was great! Thank You Laurie and Alan for letting us stay in your condo. I decided on booking with you because of your pictures you had on your website and because Laurie you were so helpful answering my questions. There were no hidden surprises and once we got there the pictures don't do the condo justice. The decor is beautiful and you gave me a few ideas for our cottage. I was camcording my husband and asked him what he thought of the condo? he couldn't have said it any better, he said " this isn't a condo it's a home". The location of the condo is in walking distance of two "shave ice" locations which we were all hooked on. Although we went to other beaches we all preferred Charlie Young Beach across the street the best. Great shops and restaurants in walking distance and we had fun getting henna tattoos at a reasonable price. This was the first time booking a condo via VRBO and everything went so smoothly, it made our first experience to Maui a possitive one and I would definitely recommend this condo at the Maui Vista to friends and family. A couple of things to note this condo is in building three not right on the main drag so you don't get the noise from traffic. There is a quiet time posted from 10pm to 8am so if you plan on having a wild party this isn't the building for you. One family told us they received a warning for their kids being loud playing tag.(they said it wasn't 10pm yet). We were told the barbeques were shut off @ 8:30pm so once we found that out we made sure we came back earlier in time to use the barbeques. It was no problem once we knew that. They have a designated area at each building for smokers. we had no issues with this but we heard of some warnings being issued for smokers who were smoking on the grounds/parking lot and not in the designated areas. All in all the property and grounds are so beautiful and the staff work so hard keeping it clean. I would definately stay here again and can't wait to return!

I've stayed in this property two times - the second time for my honeymoon! We absolutely loved it. It could not be a better location. You can walk right down to the beach, or down the road a few minutes to a variety of restaurants. It's a great proximity to beach paths & resorts, shopping and other sites. The condo itself is great. We cooked in a lot, and the kitchen was fully stocked. There's lots of room for a family. We used the lanai (balcony) all the time - it was gorgeous. Seriously, we love this place and I hope to be able to use it again.

Where to begin with this property? I had really done my research before choosing this condo several years ago. I think I have reviewed every condo on Maui on the internet. It will be everything you want in a beautiful, Maui property. We have stayed here three times now. We have never been disappointed with anything in the condo or the complex. Everything you need is here. It is so well maintained. When we return each time we think, well it's been a while, it could be getting worn and run down. NOT the case. The McCann's maintain their home so well. The complex is quiet and very well maintained also. As long as we can get on the calendar here, we will never stay at another condo on Maui. We have stayed at a few others. They just don't stack up to the beauty and serenity here at Maui Vista. Being here feels like you are home. You will not be disappointed! Just please don't book the week we want to return!!!

We are heading back north to Victoria, BC where it is supposed to snow? Hard to leave this magical land, but with luck we will all return! Thank you so much for the use of your lovely condo. It was so handy to have a home away from home. Hana was wonderful and worth the drive, the highway was really freaky, but easier on the way home. Apparently the west mountain road is worse? Didn't check that out. Hanoa beach in Hana is amazing. Our favorite beach here is Big beach. This place is paradise! Thanks again!

This has been such a great vacation! I don't want to leave! I love the decorations around the 'hotel' and all of the drawers and closets! (I am a snoop). Anyway, we had a marvelous time. We fell in love with Kihei and your condo. We loved the Charley Young beach. It is by far the best beach around. We visited a few of them. I hope to go back there again someday and spend more time. Your condo was absolutely wonderful. Pictures did not do it justice--it is better live. The girls had a great time upstairs and we loved the master. Everything is decorated so perfect. We slept so good every night--the bed is so comfortable. And we LOVED waking up to the birdie's singing to us. Our time was marvelous--just too short. I will definitely recommend your place to our friends and family. And, the place was really clean--even the stairs, like you asked. I would definitely keep that company; they did a great job--no complaints. And you have everything labeled so nicely. 2/21 to 3/16/09 We have had a perfect holiday in Maui. Your home is the type of place that makes you feel welcome the minute you step foot inside. I came to Maui with my 8 month old, Grandpa, grandma, Father, Sister. brother, soon-to-be sister in law and my aunt (of course we did not all 'bunk' together in your home, but they enjoyed visiting us everyday. I cam to Maui for my cousin's wedding & a much needed rest..I did find serenity & peace during my visit to Maui while staying at your home. You have decorated your home beautifully with love. I have stayed at the property 2 times. The amenities are unparalleled and we have nothing but good things to say about our time there. Relaxation galore! The close proximity to the Charlie Young beach made this a great place to stay, especially with kids. Also, the homeowners are a pleasure to rent from. I will definitely stay here again.

1/08 to 2/05/09 Arrived 1/08 with more humidity in the awe of creation than my spirit has ever experienced... Thank you for allowing us to come into your home, we are truly grateful and have the utmost respect for other people's property. We will take good care of it as though it were our own and enjoy all that you have allowed us to. The boys arrived on the 23rd, Nick has never seen a palm tree (wow). Nate really liked the awesome water, especially along the cliffs on the road to Hana. We had a wonderful time. Dawn & I saw some sunsets & stayed on the beach most days. She is quite the sun goddess!!! Broke 2 teacups, fixed the handle on one (sorry). Love the way everything is labeled. Easy to keep in order. I leave you with 2 pans, one pasta strainer with lid and a large teflon skillet with lid. Compliments of the---- Family. Replaced the Basil & bought replacement zip bags... Thank you for letting us use your place. You have done a nice job Redecorating. The only drawback to these condos is privacy- we sure could tell there were Newlyweds- I could hear the neighbor and the 'pillow-talk' from the floor below (boy she really loves him)!!! (from the lanai) B-B-Que grills are great, windows are not- (the neighbors below didn't close them!) The Lords creation is magnificent. Hawaiian culture and history pretty cool. We have stayed at this property twice. We couldn't wait to come back. It is truly the most beautiful condo ever! It's perfect for our family. We love how it is decorated and makes you feel so at home. We never want to leave when we come. We've heard terrible stories about other properties-but not this one! It's PARADISE!
