  My family and I had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this home, The house was furnished in a fresh, contemporary style, which suited us well, and was clean and welcoming. The back yard, with its large gas BBQ and fire pit, was lovely too. The owner and her local representative were very helpful before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home to others!

  We stayed in this home for two weeks in March, 2013. First the positive: The home is VERY well equipped with all necessary items. Great attention to detail in this regard, we have stayed in rental homes many times and this is the best equipped we've encountered. The home is located up the 17 from Phoenix which is lightly trafficked and is near Cave Creek and Carefree which have excellent shopping and dining. The home is spacious and comfortable. The furnishings while not luxurious are adequate. The back yard is quite nice and has a gas grill that worked well. Unfortunately the home's location inside a gated community presented numerous problems. We were refused entry twice due to errors in the registry. Even when this was rectified we often waited in a long line of vehicles at the gate as each was checked for identity and verified. Regular homeowners bypass this with a key card, this should be given to renting guests. Instead you must wait behind up to 10 vehicles as each's credentials is checked every time you re enter the neighborhood which will be many times each day. Cell phone coverage is quite poor at this house. I have Verizon and my brother has metro pcs, neither of us had any coverage except when in the back yard. This caused us, both physicians to kiss numerous calls. While wireless coverage is good the current router settings force you to re enter the password each time you sign on. If you are away from your device for over 5 minutes the router boots you off and you must renter a long complex password. Finally, the neighbors have several dogs who understandably need to be out early in the mornings and who bark at the golfer s when out. Both of us have dogs and this did not bother us, but it may bother some. Overall, while this house has many good points, the negative, for us, outweighed the positives.

  Owner response: We’re pleased that this guest highlighted the great accommodation, which we consider to be a major selling point for our property! However, we would like to respond to his issues with the security at the Country Club, which we feel to be very unfair. The guest did not follow the instructions laid out in emails and the Welcome Pack that were sent to him ahead of his stay. He tried to enter the Country Club by using the name and address of our on-site representative rather than the address of our home (and our name). Security of members and their guests is taken very seriously by the Country Club and it is therefore imperative that the name of the guest matches the name of the property he is visiting. Furthermore, it is against Country Club rules to provide house guests with a Key Card for obvious ongoing security reasons. With regard to the router issue, we have not had this problem before. It could be that his device settings were not set up appropriately or it could have been that the settings on the router had somehow gone awry. If this guest had asked us to look into this matter for him during his stay we would of course have done everything we could to rectify the issue for him immediately. Unfortunately, we were not aware of this issue until we read this review. Thank you. Lindsey & Andy

  "We just wanted to let you know we really enjoyed staying at your home in Anthem. It was very nice and so well equipped. We had nice weather and enjoyed sunning in the back yard. If we were to return to Phoenix I am sure we will consider staying at your home again. We cannot find any suggestions for improvement. It was lovely."

  Everything went very well-you have a very nice house in a very nice area. Our stay was great but a bit too short. It was better than not having a winter break at all though! Thanks again for the use of your property.

  I wanted to send a quick email to thank you for the use of your vacation home. It suited our family so well, and access to Ironwood pool made the warm weather even better! Todd's warm welcome stash of goodies was especially inviting after our flight from Chicago and late arrival. You're fortunate to have such an accommodating liaison on site. We appreciate the way you made the rental process and settling in so easy. I will be happy to recommend your home to friends who might be looking for a place in Anthem.

Rates include utilities,wi-fi/hi-speed Internet, cable TV, & local phone calls.

50% of the rental rate is required to secure the booking.

The outstanding amount is due 30 days prior to start of rental period.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

Tax at 8.27% is added to the rental fee for any rentals of 29 days or fewer (according to state law, rentals of 30 days or more do not incur this tax).

Cleaning fee: $150 + state tax (8.27%) = $162.41

Refundable security deposit following successful walk-through by our on-site rep.
