Lovely typical Tuscan country-style apartment on the ground floor with interiors such as wooden beans, cotto tiles and some original piece of furniture. The apartment has central heating system, TV - Sat, mosquito nets, kitchenette in the living room. The fitted kitchen has a fridge, an oven with cooking hobs, dishwasher, coffee machine (both for American and Italian coffee) and it is good provided with cutlery and crockery. The master bedroom with a queen-size bed is large enough for hosting a beautiful large wooden wardrobe and a desk with 2 armchairs. This bedroom has a private bathroom with toilette, washbasin, bidet and shower box. The second bedroom has twin beds a large window and a glass door that goes directly into the garden. Also this bedroom has a private bathroom with toilette, washbasin and shower.
The property is also surrounded by a large vineyard that produces a good and genuine red and white wine. Many olive trees are part of the property as well. We use our extra virgin oil in our dinners and cooking classes. Both wine and oil produced in the farm are not marketed on large scale, but only sold to our guests.
Podere I Gobbi has also a huge lavender field. Lavender blossoms are used to make a range of natural products: room-perfumes, soaps, honey and liquors.
In the beginning the Podere I Gobbi consisted of an old main house and a big barn. After an expert restructuring work the buildings hold now 7 completely independent apartments, all of them different both in furnishing and in plan.
