We had a great weekend getaway in Sedona. The accommodations were 1st class. Everything was neat and clean. We were close to all the attractions. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. The surroundings were quiet and beautiful. The owner was great they forwarded us area info and calender of events for the time period of our stay. Thanks

Very comfortable place to stay! The accomodations were very nice and clean, and tghe owner was very diligent in sending me lots of information about the area in advance of my stay there. I would stay here again and easily recommend to others. The only drawback is that there isn't a view, but I was so busy seeing the views elsewhere that it didn't matter very much! All in all, a good experience.

The Roost was good for 4 sisters- nice ammenties- clean- ( needs new Liv room rug). There is absolutely NO view from the little porch, but pleasantly sunny-. Very quiet, great little course-tennis and pool area. we were not t old of it not opening till May, so were very disappointed- but owner was kind and offeerd us a day at Hilton Spa- which is 5 min away and REALLY nice. It is a good deal and I would recommend
Owner response:We are sorry for the misunderstanding about the pool and hot tub. We have tried to make it clearer on the website that is only open in warmer months. Tennis and golf are open all year.

The Roost is a comfortable, affordable casita located in a gated Country Club enviornment-----------just a few minutes drive from the village of Sedona. It´s cute rooster theme is carried out throughout the casita. Perfect for two couples. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!!

It always bothers me to be negative;but there were just too many little details that made our experience not as pleasant as we had hoped. The pictures are fine, but the place was not clean and many items needed replacing including a broken pottery lamp, a charcoal grill that was so dirty we couldn't use it, stained carpet, etc.. It was just plain run down. On top of that the pool and hot tub do not open until end of April! We would not have even rented this place if we had known that. The owner was very nice and helpful during negotiations, and when we had to call the maintenance person to fix the tv, someone came bright & early next day. I just couldn't recommend this place tho I think if it were improved upon it is value for the money usually charged to stay in Sedona.
Owner response:We are sorry for the disappointment. We try to improve things the minute we hear about them. The lamp and grill have been replaced; carpet has been cleaned. We state in our ad that the hot tub and pool are only open in warmer weather. Luckily the maintenance people are doing their job.

Property is now approximately 25 years old - has original fittings - no updating has been attempted. The road North to Sedona has ongoing construction - expect delays even during evening hours.
Owner response:Sorry for your delays. I believe the construction is now complete.

We just spent a week at the Roost in Sedona. It was a very comfortable condo and plenty roomy enough for the two of us and our pair of dogs. The location is great too, as we both love the Village of Oak Creek. it's close to everything, the views are awesome and yet it's quiet. If you go, and we recommend that you do, be sure to get a Red Rocks Pass ($15 for a week or $5 a day) and visit all the different rocks. There are hiking trails galore in Sedona and even if you just drive and look, it's amazing. Have breakfast or happy hour at the Airport. Views galore! We loved the Fork in the Road, very close to the condo. And the little Mexican taco shop, Dosbetos, is authentic and delicious.

We just wanted to write and thank you for letting us rent your casita in Sedona! We really enjoyed our stay and your place is so clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kids especially enjoyed having their own bedroom, instead of us all being crammed into a hotel room!! The other people there were very nice, the pool was great, and the surrounding area so beautiful.

The time we spent there was very relaxing. The condo was nice and had everything we needed. It was nice to bring the dogs with us and save money cooking at the condo. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. For fun we rented ATV's and spent half the day driving around Sedona seeing the sites and awesome views. I would recommend doing that.

My family stayed here for 2 nights and it is everything you expect. There are no terrible surprises as in some rental properties. In fact the location is understated, it is fantastic location. Beautiful views of the Red Rocks, and so close to shopping and dining and Sedona. The rooster look is unique and my family enjoyed it. Thanks again.
