describe this 1600+ square foot remodeled retreat! Our Non-Smoking, Gulf-Front Condo is one of the closest structures to the water's edge as it was built before the newer coastal setback requirements. In other words, you're practically ON the beach! Don't settle for less! The actual beach walkover (stairs to beach) is within 10 feet of the condo (see picture below).
Unit 5A is located on the WEST END of the building. So in addition to the fantastic gulf front views, the westerly views surround you with a feel of a cruise ship. On a clear day, you can see Destin via the large side picture window while watching TV. The resulting panoramic view is truly wonderful! It's also great for watching sunsets from the comfort of your sofa.
The master bedroom which is Gulf-front has a king bed with its own bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa. There is a TV in each bedroom as well as a TV in the living area. Both full baths are tiled with a tub/shower. There is a half bath on the main level. The "carport" can be used to park your bikes out of the rain.
FREE WIRELESS internet access is also provided.

There are nearby rentals for bikes, kayaks, umbrellas, rafts & mopeds. Golfing, swimming & kayaking ensure fun-filled activities. Walk up the road to get a relaxing massage. There's shopping at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Great restaurants are located nearby including the popular Red Bar in Grayton, Goat Feathers, Basmatis, 30A Restaurant, Criollas's, Pandora's, Fish Out of Water & many others. What a wonderful week in Blue Mountain Beach

After a three year absence, we spent the 2nd week of September at 5A Blue Mountain Villas. What a wonderful, relaxing retreat. Between the beautiful beachfront view and the ease of access to the white sands, everything was wonderful. Well, there was a lot more seagrass than usual but that did not slow us donw as far as beach time went. The condo was just as we remembered- well furnished (a few furniture upgrades), beautiful kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Our dealings with Albert, the owner, were helpful and pleasant. The pictures on the website are quite accurate, especially when looking at the beach. We HAVE recommended this condo to family- cousins have been there more times than we have now! As we have our last two visits, we rented our umbrellas/chairs from Burke's. For the first time we rented bikes from Big Daddy's- that was lots of fun and they are so helpful. Had some great meals out: Stinky's, Bud and Alley's, Red Bar, Johnny McGuirre's, Hurrican's Oyster Bar. Best new find was pizza from the Pickle Factory (north on 283 in Grayton Beach)- had it twice, it was so yummy. One of the great things about this condo is the location. There are places within walking distance to shop and eat plus plenty within a short drive. Love the new Publix up on 98 not far from 83. Having the bike path so close along 30-A is a bonus.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.
