Very nice apartment in a charming, busy neighborhood area. Great access to shopping and restaurants. Great little coffee/wine/food establishment directly in the street out the door. We spent countless hours early mornings and late evenings, a really fun place! The apartment was great for a couple and Sonia made certain that we understood everything and was there for anything we needed. Great value. Highly recommended!

The description on the flat was accurate regarding the location, layout, and facilities. Location fabulous for sightseeing, shopping, eating & drinking. Apartment comftable and clean close to train station and stores. The flat was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with some special request we had before we came and a request we had before we left. We would recommend this place to friends and family.

Great Location - Quaint apartment

We loved the location on via San Georgio and the privacy of having our own entrance off the street. However there was a small glitch when checking in, Sidrak's sister was late and we could not contact Sidrak on mobile, so had a stressful 20 minutes waiting outside the apartment wondering what to do. When we were able to get into the apartment, after 5pm, the apartment had not been cleaned from previous tenants. Not their fault, but annoying. We had to leave for another two hours before gaining proper access, and received no feedback/apology from Sidrak. Pity cos this marred our arrival. However all else was good in the apartment, although it was a bit musty, and lacked basic crockery (only one coffee mug and two of the bowls were cracked). I would still recommend Casa Orsetti as a great place to stay in Lucca. Fabulous town, we had 8 nights there.

Unfortunately VRBO customer support did not want to investigate about the truth of this review and never forwarded a documentated proof of the stay of the reviewer. I am so sorry. It never hapened that previous tenants have not cleaned the apartment because..... it is my own housekeeper which cleans the apartment and I did never get a complaint. A lovely nest

We were 2 couples visiting Lucca for 6 days in May 2011 and found this apt charming and with plenty of room. Having large bathroom, was a bonus that we really appreciated. It is close to the main shopping street and we walked for miles exploring Lucca each day. We never cooked a meal at all, but it seemed to have everything we would need to do so and even more! The apt was very clean and the windows that opened onto the sky were so beautiful....a charming place. I would return to this apartment, if we ever return to Lucca again.

great experience

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights in Sept 2010. Sidrak has paid real attention to detail in the furnishing of the apartment and the location is excellent. The afternoon we arrived we sat in the living room and could just hear a lady practicing her opera arias from her house on a nearby street - a magical start to our stay in Lucca! As described in the listing, it has all you will need for the stay - washing machine, flat tv, iron and board, even mosquito scarers! Sidrak's sister checked us in and out - on time, very courteous. All facilities worked well and there was a big bowl of fresh ripe fruit on the table to welcome us and a book she'd written to advise on local amenities. When we go back to Lucca we'll be staying here if it is available though I have a nasty feeling that it will be permanently booked up by competing guests!!

Sweet apartment in the centre of Lucca

My husband and I stayed at the apartment at the end of May. The place could not been better, easy to get to, welcoming and at the same time private. Well catered for all our holiday needs. Would recommend the apartment and Lucca to anyone. Worth giving a go!

delightful Tuscan charm

We've just spent a week at this this apartment and it really is lovely. It is very clean, the furniture is comfortable and everything is in good working order. What a great flat,for the first time for me that everything that was promised actully was there and more.Everything you might need is provided. Sidrak, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful, he showed us about everything and offered to help in everyway he could. We took my 8 month old grandson with us and Sidrak provided a cot and highchair, even a baby bath wrap!. The street is very quite and not busy with traffic. The flat is just as promised, clean and charmful. Excellent location. 2 min. walk from the main square. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the train is an easy walk. We had a great holiday and I would love to stay there again sometime.

We staied at this beautiful cosy apartment and loved the fact to be right next to the main shopping street but... so calm and quiet. The apartment is located within 2 mins walking from groceries selling local vegetables and home made lasagne and traditional recipes. The apartment is so spotless, clean, and convenient for a couple (like us) or even for adults with a couple of children. The apartment is small but incredibly appointed (sat flat tv, ful kitchen, washer and even wi-fi). Very helpful and nice was the gentleman who met us. Very suggested apartment. Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
