This was a lovely home. We shared it with another 4 member family. We all had plenty of space. It was very relaxing to allow the children to go upstairs and play and relax on their own after a long day of Disney! The pool was fun and enjoyable. Our kids loved the slide and lazy river. The adults took advantage of the hot tub and lounge areas. The location of the home was good. A short drive from Disney but well worth it! The convenience of having a full service grocer was a great addition, also. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a reasonable rate with very good accommodations. I felt like the home was a steal!

What a great vacation home to rent! The description was exactly as advertised. It was was clean and perfect for our needs. It was so nice to have a larger area to stay in verus just a hotel room with 2 beds. The owners are so nice and are very quick to reply or answer any questions. The communication was fantastic! The travel time to Disney World was approx 15 mins. The kids loved the pool area with the lazy river being the highlight. I have told almost everyone I know what a great experience this was!! "We had a excellent time in the house during our holiday. It was exactly as described and comfortable. It was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and we liked the fridge with its water and ice dispenser. There is WIFI connection available. The resort is well looked after with a great swimming pool. All the staff were very friendly. There is a supermarket nearby (Publix) which stocks most things including vegetarian foods. It also has a good health food section. The parks are about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic and there is a nature area at Lake Louisa about 20 minutes up the road. We found some restaurants which did vegetarian food not too far away (not easy in Florida): Olive Garden and Sweet Tomatoes. Both restaurants have websites to check out locations, menus and prices. Ria (the owner) provided us with everything we needed to know and always answered any questions promptly. We had a fantastic time, thank you!"

Excellent property, very clean and well maintainted. It was a pleasure to deal with Ria and I highly recommend the townhouse. She was really quick to reply to e-mail. She also, check on my arrival to make sure everything was ok with us. The house it just a short walk to the resort (pool). Kids really enjoy the water slide and the lazy river. Would definitely rent from them again. Publix and wal-mart are really close for buying foods. It's not too far from Disney or Universal around 15 to 20 minutes drives. I really enjoy my vacation at the regal palms. THX RYA. Recommended for: Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 4 kids aged 2 to 7 - stayed at this townhouse last week for a quick family trip to Disney. The owners were very easy to work with and quick to respond; much appreciated! Be aware it's closer to a 25 minute drive to Disney, not 10 minutes. This is a very basic, tidy property without a lot of "living" room for house with 4 bedrooms; a kitchen table for 4 people only so the kids sat on the floor to eat their meals... not ideal but workable nonetheless. Regal Palms is within walking distance of a Publix grocery store, liquor store, Applebee's Restaurant, pizza place, and a bank. The resort pool was lots of fun with the waterslide and little floating river section (no lifeguards and bring your own life jacket if needed for kids). Only complaint we had was the washing machine which had mold and mildew - gross visually and smelled too - we called the Regal Palms resort desk and asked them to clean it, which they did, but it remained too gross to use even after we bleached it and tried to scrub it ourselves too! Overall a good place to stay as long as you do not plan to have more than 4 people spending long amounts of time inside.

Owner response:Many thanks to the guests for their review and I appreciate any feedback. For clarification, the advert does not give the travel time for the Walt Disney Resort, only the distance which is about 8 miles so not sure where the 10 minutes come from. Although there are four dining chairs, the dining table seats 6 people, and two additional folding chairs are provided,. There are also two stools at the (small) breakfast bar. I have on many occasions had 6 to 8 people in the house and the size of the living room has never been raised as an issue and I expect that this is a personal preference. The washing machine seal has been replaced and the mold and mildew are therefore no longer an issue. See also all other reviews.

When we rented this townhouse we did so under the expectation that it would be clean and reasonably furnished. We were not disappointed! We have rented in the Orlando area for years and this was by far the cleanest and best furnished home to date. Perhaps the greatest asset to this rental, from our perspective, was the high speed internet service. This service proved both fast and trouble-free. Of course the Regal Palms Resort is an excellent place to entertain children and we have always found their employees to be very friendly and obliging.

"We had a great time in Orlando, and found your house exceeded expectations, well equipped with modern furnishings and decor, and we found it spacious and comfortable. We were only there a short time, but it was always good to get back and relax after a day around the theme parks. We were out so much we couldn't use the resort pool/facilities, but would have done so if we had stayed longer, as it was so convenient having them on site. The information you sent prior to our arrival there about the resort/shops etc was very helpful, and your management company and the staff at Regal Palms were friendly and efficient. As a base to tour the area further I would have no hesitation in returning to your lovely home."

"I like how the place and resort is exactly as per your website and your photographs as with some places you turn up and its nothing like the photos but this was like walking into the photos. The house was fantastic... It was the perfect retreat and was so homely and comfortable and a great base for us 6 adults. It was such a nice feeling after a long day at the park that we were all going home to a comfy sofa or comfy bed. The kitchen facilities were fantastic and far better than being at a hotel. The clubhouse staff were friendly & the pool staff & shop staff were brilliantly helpful. I went to the pool most mornings & it was lovely and quiet and sometimes it was only me in it for an hour or so. They even did a film night one night where they set up a big screen at the pool and played a film and i was swimming in the pool watching the film and it was a beautiful evening so it was a great holiday moment. Appleby's was amazing! Because it was such a short distance to your house we walked a few nights and had some of the best dinners there and the cocktails being happy hour all day every day was also fantastic. The shops were all very good that were nearby. I cannot thank you enough for providing us with such comfortable and beautifully situated accommodation & for such an affordable rate."

It was just as advertised, the house was emaculate and furnished lovely. We did read some worrying reviews on Regal Palms itself from various sites before our stay, but I would like to reassure people that Regal Palms itself was great. The pool was lovely and stayed open till 11pm every night, the staff were very friendly. We had a brilliant 3 weeks in your house, our one complaint is that the house was just too nice and comfy and we had trouble dragging ourself out. Regal Palms is also very central to everything and we had no trouble finding our way around Orlando. We hope we have the chance to stay in your home again in the future and once again thankyou for making our stay an enjoyable one."

Your instructions & directions were very clear - thank you. We returned back yesterday after a long journey & fabulous holiday which was certainly helped by having such a comfortable holiday home to base ourselves from. Your Florida home was just as described, very comfortable, spacious & spotless. The location was great too having the supermarket & other amenities so close enabled occasional no driving as an option. The resort facilities were excellent too and the pool was close and never too crowded - there were always sun loungers available. We made full use of the facilities in the house too especially the dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer - I did all the washing before I returned & it was great not to have mountains of washing to do when returning home ! Thank you again for the use of your home - I will definitely recommend your home to family & friends.

We had a great time, thank you. The house was perfect for us, particularly as it is only a few minutes walk to the pool. Everything we wanted was available from a corkscrew to extra towels. We can't fault it. We would gladly stay again (if we had the opportunity!!). A very relaxing home from home. Your management company were very efficient and when we arrived, we were in and out of their office in a matter of minutes. As you know after a long flight, all you want to do is get to your destination and not have any hold ups. I went back to their office several times during the holiday to use the internet and they were always friendly and efficient. Thank you for letting us use the house, we really did feel at home."
