Walk to coffee and restaurants and hop out the back door, through delicious stonewalled gardens, out to Stowe's 6 mile recreational path or hop into the private hot tub. Walk out the door one block to be picked up by Stowe's Mountain Shuttle for the best skiing experience in the East.
The house has 4 2nd floor bedrooms separated into two suites each with their own staircase for private access. The front bedrooms each have a queen size bed and a full bath with antique fixtures and radiant heated floors.
The back suite has a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with spectacular mountain views. They share a full bath with radiant heated floors.
The first floor has a spectacular great room with custom gourmet kitchen, granite and wood counters, a full bar and a dining area with views to two gas fireplaces. The front den has a large flat screen TV and a gas fireplace and beautiful wood paneling. The mudroom is spacious for gear, yet casually elegant. The first floor is fully radiant heated.
The house may also be rented with access to the luxury first floor master suite, which may be locked off when not in use by renters and has it's own entrance.
The master suite has a dining area, sitting area, luxury tumbled marble bath with a large walk-in closet, and a spectacular covered porch. Pricing and availability for the house with the Master Suite is upon request.

The backyard gardens are spectacular in the Summer and Fall and include a private hot tub. This is a one of a kind property.

Year Purchased: 2006
I'm a former Massachusetts and New York resident - grew up skiing in Stowe. Moved here full time in 2003. My son was a competitive snowboarder which prompted the move. I'm a former investment banker now small business owner in Stowe. I own Well Heeled - a high end women's shoe, clothing and accessory store. I love all the outdoor offerings of this lifestyle and absolutely love living in the village and walking to get my coffee and dinner. There is great privacy with views out the back. Village living is the best kept secret in town.

What an amazing home! We truly felt like we were staying in a show home! The pictures are beautiful, but we were blown away when we arrived! The master suite downstairs was to die for - our favorite place in the house! The location was great - at one end of main street and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!
