We've been to St Thomas quite a few times and every time we have stayed at Sapphire Beach. This was our second trip to this condo. The room has a fantastic view of the beach and down island views to Tortola, Jost Van Dyke and St John among many other small cays. It's convenient to Red Hook Ferry service to St John as well as the BVI if you wish to go there. There's a Food Center on the other side of Red Hook or you can drive a few miles to Tutu and the K-Mart, Cost-U-Less or other food stores. The full kitchen is a definite plus if you are not into dining out every night. A new stove has been installed since our last visit as well. You won't find a better beach to snorkel at than Sapphire Beach on St Thomas. You have sea turtles and stingrays straight off the beach out about 100 yards and a world class reef to the left and right of the beach on both sides. We were graced with a large swarm of bait fish in the shallows which brought in 4ft tarpons to swim with as well as two 2-3ft baby reef sharks. There's a large barracuda as well who lives in the area who you will definitely see if you spend much time in the water. He's apparently harmless. Without a doubt, I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in one of the best locations on St Thomas for a very reasonable price. You can't go wrong.

I stayed at this condo for three nights and haven't had a better vacation! The condo is in the best location on the property, literally just yards away from the beach and the view is fantastic! The beach is by far one of the most beautiful on the islands and has amazing snorkeling- we saw a bunch of sting rays and sea turtles around the reefs the day we went out. Also the location is less than a mile from the small downtown Red Hook area..a great place to go to the bars and have some fun at night! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation

We stayed at this condo in the mid of April 2010. The condo was exactly as described here. It is on the Sapphire beach which is one of the best in St Thomas. It was well maintained, clean and perfect for two of us. The view from the deck was great. We spent lots of time on the beach and the deck. Redhook was nearby and a 5 minute ride in safaris (open air taxis). They were available at the gate of Crystal Cove almost anytime. We went to red hook mainly for our groceris and to take the ferry for St John. The owner and people around was nice and very helpful. We enjoyed our vacation very much as well as our stay at this condo. Will be back soon. This one is very much recommended.

If you like white sand beaches, turquoise water, warm sun, gentle breezes, and great snorkeling, then you will love Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach. The landscape is lovely, very clean, and well maintained. There are great walking paths, nice tennis court, and great pool. You feel very safe anytime of day or night. The condo (A-16) photos and description accurately describe the condo. Everything you could need for your stay is provided. It is clean and well kept. The deck is quiet with a beautiful view! The owners were very nice and great to deal with. It is about a five minute walk to the marina which was very handy for day trip rentals. We went on the Northwind for an all day sailing trip. (Beautiful breakfast and lunch) It was wonderful. The Do It In Style took us on a great trip of the British Virgin Islands. (The Baths and Soggy Dollar Bar are a must see!) We had some great deep sea fishing on the Double Header. Blackbeard's Castle is nice with beautiful views of Charlotte Amalie and the harbor. Food is pricey but very good. The shopping is excellent. The open-air taxis cost $1. You can go anywhere on the island. You never wait more than 5 minutes for one to come by, wherever you may need one. You can tell why we have booked this condo again for next year!

Our stay here at Crystal Cove was spectacular! My wife and I traveled for our 10th anniversary and stayed for 5 days. The views and the beach absolutely could not have been any better. We traveled all over the islands during our stay, including St. John, but Sapphire beach was about as good as it gets. Not crowded, perfect beach, good snorkling, and you can walk back to the condo in about 30 seconds! Being next to Red Hood is also a bonus...great places to eat, drink and explore. If / when we go back as just a couple, we will definitely be giving Pam a call again. Thanks Pam!

The beach here is amazing and really steps from your condo. We stayed with your 2 year old and had a great time. The kitchen was very useful and we had everything we needed. The building/unit is a bit dated but we were not looking for granite counters and the rates we paid were very good. The care taker Norma took care of any requests. Pool was fine but no one there. There is a second pool at the Sapphire Beach condos also, if required. Its a bit nicer and had more people in it. Restaurants were all very close by. I strongly suggest you rent a Car though for St. Thomas.
