We have a large family (7 kids) and have owned this wonderful, oceanfront, three bedroom condo for many years and have enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. This is our first venture in renting the unit as the kids have gotten older. If you are looking for a glitzy, high rise condominium this is not the place for you---however if a well maintained and decorated, very large, direct oceanfront, family friendly place is appealing this should more than suit your needs.
We are the end unit on the first floor of a five story condo in mid-town Ocean City, Maryland. There is a sizable ocean front wraparound deck with chaise lounges and other seating provided with wonderful views of the beach and the ocean. We have two assigned parking spots with one being the best location in the building. There are just a few steps up from your car to the first level so no need for the elevator or significant stair climbing. A very nice guarded (in season) beach just a few steps from the front door plus there is an outdoor shower.
The unit sleeps 10. The mid-town location gives you easy access to all restaurants, the boardwalk, amusement parks, Convention Center, and plenty of tennis, golf and tons of water activities within easy reach. We provide a pc with dial up access to AOL plus for a fee you can subscribe to wi-fi. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as plenty of tv's, board games, DVD, VCR and CD players plus dvd's and cd's for your use. We have a large screen HDTV in the living room with Comcast cable access and new flat panel TV's in each of the bedrooms. Plus a nice dining area with additional seating around the breakfast bar so plenty of room for all.
This year (2009) we have installed ceramic tile flooring in the hall, kitchen and both bathrooms. Additionally the stove, microwave and washing machine are new in 2009 as well as wall mounted, flat panel TV's in each of the three bedrooms. Finally we just (6/09) installed a new central air conditioning/heating system plus an X-Box 360 with several games.
