This was actually our second year staying at the cottage. We had such a wonderful family vacation in July 2010 that we decided to come back again this year!! The cottage is just as it is pictured in the photos and you can not beat the views, the sunsets are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We used all of the amenities (provided by Paula and her family) from beach toys and chairs to kayaks and life vests. The 'welcoming smore kit' was a huge hit with our kids, as soon as we arrived they went looking for it!!! You can not beat the location, the house is truly 10 steps from the beach and when you have children, that is an absolute blessing! We have such wonderful memories and photos of both vacations at this cottage, I'm sure we will be back!!!

My husband and three children had a wonderful, relaxing week in this cozy camp. The views from dawn to dusk were stunning. The beach and water were perfect. We enjoyed many rides around the basin in the kayaks. The house was the perfect size for us and the kids loved the loft. It was well stocked with games and outdoor items we used every day like chairs, life vests, sand toys. We had some extended family in the area and were able to host them for barbeques on the deck as it was spacious enough for a big crowd. The fire pit was a big hit with our kids too and we enjoyed one almost every night. We were there over the 4th of July and watched fireworks from the beach. It was close enough to town that we walked several times. I can't say enough good things about it. It was an amazing vacation and we hope to be back.

My family and I had a wonderful week last July. Loved the cottage and the owner Paula is kind, curtious and a great person to rent from. We will come back again and again. Having use of the kayaks to explore the lake was amazing and being able to sit on the beach with the firepit was wonderful. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation.

My boyfriend and i had the pleasure of spending an extended 10 day 4th of July holiday at this beautiful lakefront property. We were able to enjoy 5 glorious days alone before 7 of our friends joined us for the long holiday weekend. It was simply AMAZING! The owner was more than accomodating with regard to occupancy (as we had a last minute guest arrival) and she provided us with everything we needed to know about the surrounding areas and activities. If you're into antiques like i am, there's a charming little town called Cornish on the opposite side of the lake that has at least 7 shops. The images on this page don't do the property justice, you're literally steps from the private beach! The sunsets are simply BREATHTAKING. I highly recommend kayaking while the sun sets...if you're lucky, you just might spot a turtle gliding along side (definately a highlight for me!). It truly is a special place to unwind with friends and family. We look forward to returning next year!

We had a great "Maine" vacation at this cottage! The location was perfect, just minutes to shopping, laundry mat and several restaurants. The sunsets from the deck were amazing, we have since blown up several shots and are proudly displaying them in our house! Our kids loved the loft area, as well as the several cousins who came to visit. The kayaks and the numerous beach toys were a big hit too. The cottage was clean and well supplied with all of the essentials for the week. The owner was extremely flexible and accomodating with our everchanging flight dates. I would definitely vacation here again!!

Cozy "Down Maine" camp with a master bedroom and and a cool loft that our 2 kids, and various cousins enjoyed. Plenty of room for large family cookouts. Our boys enjoyed the kyacks, but we rented speed boats and skied and tubed on the beautiful lake. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake, and had evening fires. Great parking. Family vote - we go again next year!

Our family had a great week at this cabin. The kids liked having the big upstairs room for themselves. We all enjoyed the kayaks provided as well as the beach toys. The house is right across from the beach and has a beautiful view of the lake. The beach was sandy and excellent for swimming and lounging. There were often other kids there for our girls to play with--which allowed us to relax! It was nice to be so convenient to all the stores in North Windham as well.

What a wonderful week we had! This house is clean and cute, and has a great loft room that worked great for our two kids! We also really enjoyed the two great kayaks. The beach is PERFECT ... sandy, warm water, beautiful sunsets, and we really loved listening to the loons at night ... what a special place!
