This is a great house for families. The kitchen and dining area are very large, making meal times very easy, especially with a large group. The extra details - furniture, house trim, linens, etc - are all top quality. The very spacious decks are fantastic - lots of ocean breeze and plenty of seating, and a nice grill. We especially enjoyed the pool, which was big enough for "family swim hour" at the end of the day. The beach access is right across the street - a little walk thru the dunes - and the beach is very wide and enjoyable. The property is close to the end of the island - near Breach Inlet - but we did not find a problem with rip tides, etc. THe house is very close to town, which was nice for quick runs to the beach stores and the ice cream stand, but is far enough away from the pier/public beach area so that there are no crowds/traffic. This end of the island is very quiet and very little traffic. The rental company that we used - Beachside Vacations - was great - - very efficient, responsive, easy check in/out. I highly recommend this house!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Wonderful house in a perfect location -- quiet and beachy, but easy access to Charleston, Patriot's Point, and the amenities of Mt. Pleasant. The house is open, bright and spacious; nicely finished, beautifully furnished, and well-maintained. Plenty of room for everyone and the elevator made it easy for our older family members. Very clean and well managed. Now if y'all could just do something about the weather. . . .Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities.
