Come relax at our beautiful Bird Bay getaway and enjoy the picture perfect, uninterrupted view of Robert's Bay framed by mature trees draped with Spanish moss, only a stone's throw away, and visible from the living room, lanai and bedrooms. Relax on your own spacious and peaceful lanai day or night while feeling the gentle breezes and hearing the chirping of birds over the mangroves.
The unit is bright and airy with cathedral ceilings in the living room, and skylights and ceiling fans in all the rooms. Both bedrooms and the living room have sliding glass doors leading to the lanai. All has been freshly painted and cheerfully decorated in a beachy, FL style. The morning sun washes into the kitchen through the sliding doors leading to the front porch, which has a view of the golf course and the nearby pond with its lovely water birds.
Bird Bay is a resort style community complete with an 18 hole par 3 golf course, three heated pools (one just a few minutes stroll), tennis courts and club house with community rooms, tons of activities (yoga, bridge, art, etc) and a fully equipped gym. Bird Bay is right next to the Legacy biking and walking trail that winds for 12 miles through Venice neighborhoods and along the waterway.
We're only 5 minutes from gulf coast Florida's most beautiful beaches, where turtles nest, fossilized sharks teeth abound and the shelling is renowned. Enjoy a drink with other sunset watchers at Venice Beach or the pier, or watch the Dolphins play at one of the many secluded beaches only minutes away.
Experience historic Venice, just a few minutes away, with its quaint and unique shops, old fashion ice cream parlor, coffee shops, restaurants, parks and even live theatre. Drive only 20 minutes north to Sarasota for a more city feel and abundance of cultural activities, sites, restaurants, and outer beaches.
