A beautiful post and beam house on acreage. This is an ideal property for two families to share, with a total of 6 beds in three bedrooms. Large open living room/ dining room and kitchen.
One bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and a deck leading to an enclosed rear garden. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a double bed plus a twin bed. The third bedroom has one double bed plus two twin beds.
There are two full bathrooms, one on the main floor, one upstairs, situated between the two bedrooms.
A large deck off the living room overlooks the garden. This property is ideal for children to play and explore. The trampoline provides hours of fun. A Greenhouse studio in the garden is used for art, fitness and relaxation.
There is a market, golf course and beach within walking distance. There are numerous art studios on the island, showcasing the talents of our many artists.

I will definitely recommend this property to friends. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained. The kitchen is excellently equipped (one son did the cooking and was very happy). We all slept comfortably; the twins love the bunk beds. And they spent hours on the trampoline! A special aspect is the privacy; not a house in sight! We enjoyed the deer browsing nearby. My husband kept his boat at Montague Harbour (great place for lunch). Our family explored Wallace Island, hiked up Mount Galiano and enjoyed the beaches. A great holiday. May K., Vancouver

We really enjoyed our ladies weekend away at your Gulf Island Getaway. It was a beautiful setting in the woods with deer and owls as well as a beautiful garden to wander in. The house was very comfortable with lots of room for 8-9 people. The house is very well stocked with linens and kitchen utensils. We especially enjoyed sitting in the sun house. It is only 5 minutes drive from the ferry and the beautiful Montague Harbour.

I had a great time on Galiano Island and the main reason for that was your absolutely spectacular home. Your home was just so well stocked with everything we needed, great open space and above all, it felt like a home away from home. My other guests and I couldn't stop talking about how much we enjoyed your home and I want to thank you for that. I also wanted to mention how special we felt that you came to the Island just to greet us and ensure we were settled in. All this in addition to sending someone to pick us up since you knew we would be without a car. Thank you for making my 30th birthday weekend so wonderful and memorable.

Thanks Helen for a wonderful week at your house! Very clean, tasteful decor, comfortable beds and so peaceful and quiet! The kids enjoyed the grassy area, the deck and especially those bunk beds. We would definitely return if our family reunion is on Galiano again. Cheers!
