This (not so) little apartment was perfect, serine, a little off the beach, on a cul-de-sac, so no through traffic. Beautifully decorated and very clean, even fresh flowers when I arrived. I loved just hanging out and reading, or strolling along the beach in the morning with my coffee. I've visited Hanalei and Princeville many times but the experience in this home was by far the most relaxing and authentically Hawaiian I have had. Go enjoy. Cheers, CRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I purchased the property while living in Southern California and used it as a vacation rental for 5 years then moved to Kauai in 1983. Since 1983 to present, I come and go from my charming Hanalei Cottage with the Mtn View Loft. I have remodeled the property many times while keeping the island charm of the design. When not at my Hanalei home, I live in San Francisco, two great bays to experience. Hanalei still has the charm and lifestyle, come and discover for yourself.

I chose the Hanalei Palms location for my Cottage. Why you asked, because of the proximity to Hanalei Bay with wide sandy beaches, great water sports, the friendly neighbors and the short walk into the town village.
