  Four of us stayed at Casa Consulada for 5 nights. We took the option of hiring the recommended cook, Ivania, for breakfast and a couple of extra meals left in the refrigerator. The owner and the rental agency in Granada, GPS, were both very helpful prior to our arrival with information about the house and suggestions of things to do. While in Granada GPS was accommodating and easily accessible. The house itself was spectacular. Beds were all comfortable. The sitting areas and kitchen all contributed to a relaxed atmosphere, so much so that we could have been totally content to stay in the house for our entire visit, however the city of Granada called to us. We will return to the same property when we visit again.

  We went to Granada for a wedding with a group of 80 or so. This is not our first time but this house made it the best time. Other people from the group rented other houses. Casa Yula, Casa Agua Luna, Casa La Sirena, just to name a few. There were a total of 14 houses rented within our group and we visited all of them. All the houses are decent and have their own charm but none are comparable to Casa Consulado. Everyone agreed that we had the best house! I would compare this house to a tranquil spa like retreat. It was breezy so the AC was barely needed. The view from the top deck is one of a kind in Granada and breathtaking. It is close to everything so it was very convenient. The sunsets from the top deck were a nightly attraction. I think the pictures on this site do not do it justice.

  my family and me spent 4 days in this great house to celebrate my birthday. the organisation was perfect, we arrived late but a nice guy was waiting for us to show us everything. the rooms are in perfect conditions, the kitchen is fully equipped and the pool is amazing. the housecleaning also worked perfect and so he had a perfect stay in this house. the only thing i would change is a better internetaccess, it just works good in the masterbedroom groundfloor - but to be honest my family enjoyed that because of this i could not work all the time.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  Our experience at Casa Consulado far exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, spacious and perfectly located. We walked everywhere with no problem. Isabel is a gem!!!! My parents arrived a day early and Vanessa at GPS took care of all the details so that they could get into the house a day early. I highly recommend Pierre at Nica Adventures. Their group is excellent for any travel needs that you may have!! We plan on going back to this lovely home with in a year!!!

  Granada is a wonderful city to visit but you will be hard pressed to leave this incredible home and step outside. I had to write this review while still sitting in the stunning courtyard. Every consideration has gone into it. The luxurious beds and bathrooms are obvious, but the wonderful details are so appreciated. Containers to keep your food safe and fresh, eight or ten ways to make your morning coffee. There was even delicious coffee waiting for us. I would love to meet the owners, they truly know how to live and they treat their guests accordingly. Isbella, the housekeeper, is simply wonderful. She even left this laptop for our convenience. Thank you for making our Nicaraguan experience so special and memorable. It is obvious that the owners love their home here and spend time in it. We appreciate them sharing it with us.This has been a exceptional time and we are grateful for having the opportunity to enjoy such a special home. Absolutely book this. You will be so glad you did.   We just returned from Nicaragua, 2 families who spent one week at Casa Consulado. It is absolutely the best rental house in town. We loved our stay there, the house being the highlight of it all. What a place to return home to. It's so close to the center (one block essentially), so clean and spare and comfortable. The beds are absolutely amazing, the decor is simple but very elegant, and the pool is an absolute godsend. We spent hours in it. Views from the roof at sunset are magical. There is nothing you could dislike about this wonderful home. Thanks for sharing it with us. Best, Ann

  My husband and I rented Casa Consulada for 3 nights in Jan 2011 and can't wait to go back. I would like to hire the interior designer. When in the house, you can not hear any of the street noise. 1.5 blocks for the square. We cooked in every night. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you made need to cook a full course meal. The electric juicer was used everyday! The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms very nice. There is AC in all the bedrooms, but we never needed it. There was always a nice breeze through out the house, plus you can jump in the pool anytime you get hot. The third floor roof top deck is great at sunset. 360 degree views of the churches and volcanoes. I would recommend this house to anyone.

  We rented Casa Consulado for a party of eight for the first week in February 2011. The house (and Granada) far exceeded our expectations. The house is a perfect blend of colonial charm and modern updates. We lived outside both in the pool and on the veranda. The roof terrace had the most magnificent views of the sunset as well as the volcanoes and church towers. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms very hip, it really was like staying in a boutique hotel. The owner, Brad, was always available via email to answer any questions and the housekeeper, Isabella, was the best. We are already planning a return trip.

  We recently stayed at the Casa Brisas in Grenada for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time! It is walking distance to all the sites and restaurants in town and the neighborhood is lovely. Also having Pure Spa & Yoga right next door was a great way to start the day and receive good bodywork treatments. The neighbors were really nice and the stoop culture in Grenada means you will meet many folks and buy fresh baked bread on our doorstep. The only downsides were that the neighbors kids did stay up quite late and were a bit noisy and the water pump in the house was pretty loud. Would definitely stay again!

  Our stay at Casa Consulado was fabulous! Being an architect I have very picky tastes. There are very few houses I could move right into, but this is one.
