About this property

Secluded and private/ Hot Tub/Wood Fire-place/15 min-downtown Asheville/wifi/

Blueberry Hill Log Cabin is a peaceful and quiet escape away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

It is a traditional log cabin, furnished with everything you will need for your visit to Asheville.

Sit on the front porch and relax with a cup of coffee, or enjoy the therapeutic Hot-Tub after a day of hiking the mountains. As the weather turns colder, the wood burning fireplace offers a cozy way to end your day. The cabin is large enough for a small family.

Tucked away in Starne's Cove, at the end of the road, the cabin is surrounded by Spivey & Miller mountains with lush greenery and wildlife. While sitting on the porch you can listen to the stream tumbling down, watch turkeys, and an occasional bear even crashes the scene. Down the hill the ponds are home to Ducks, herons, fish and frogs.

You will feel far away from everything during your visit to Asheville, but actually the heart of town is just 10 miles down the road and an easy 15 minute car drive.

In addition to the wildlife, we share our piece of heaven with a Corolla Mustang horse, a goat, some chickens and our dog Bryn - who you will invariably meet when walking the property.

Please note that there is a single security camera on site. It monitors only the parking area, and lets us know that you got in safe and sound.

Thanksgiving
Cute little cabin. We enjoyed our stay! Make sure to get there during the day light hours. The first time on their drive way was a bit confusing at night. But during the day very obvious. We loved the fact its private. Comfortable beds. Everything you need!! It was also a blessing to have left seasonings once we discovered Everything was closed for Thanksgiving and we needed to cook at the cabin!! Thank you so much!

About the host

Jim and I have been married now for almost 30 years. We honeymooned in a cabin very much like Blueberry Hill in a small town in Ga. We also enjoyed a hot tub and that is the biggest reason we have chose to have one on our property. Jim is a microbiologist and I am a nurse and we have 4 children growing up very rapidly and enjoy life outdoors and camping.

Why they chose this property

Our Log cabin offers peace and quiet away from city life but so close to everything it makes getting around very easy. You will feel like time has stopped while at the cabin.

What makes this property unique

Blueberry Hill log cabin sits on 1-acre country setting while we own 12 surrounding acres. It's peaceful and quite and very private. Luckily if you forget anything at the store it's also very convenient.
