Hernando Beach is located in a rural, residential Gulf Coast community known for world class fishing. There are plenty of fish to catch such as grouper, snapper, snook, and redfish. Experience nature and wildlife preserves, not to mention beautiful sunsets. See Dolphin, Manatee and other exotic wildlife from the comfort of the upper balcony that overlooks the pool and channel, or from the ground floor screened-in pool/lanai area. Fish from the dock or bring your boat or kayak. If you prefer, you can charter a fishing boat for guided inshore and offshore adventures from the nearby marina, venture offshore for grouper fishing on a party boat, rent a boat, jet ski, or kayak.
This home even has bicycles for riding, some fishing poles, bait bucket, bait refrigerator, and is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a quaint local club house within walking distance.
Enjoy fine dining in the town’s local establishments or in the national restaurant chains nearby on US 19. Convenient shopping also abounds on US 19.
For the golfer, you will find many nearby golf courses. This is the perfect quiet, relaxing, beautiful, picturesque, surrounded by nature, place to stay.
Pine Island Beach, very quiet, serene, non crowded is less than 10 minute drive. There is a smaller beach area, actually on the river, that provides swimming, kyack rentals and I have been told by tenants that they swam with the manatee!

For the Book What a relaxing location! We would definitely return. Spent the rainy day at the Port Ritchie Mall. We visited Tarpon Springs which is a Greek community near the sponge docks. Great for lunch and an afternoon of tourist shops. We also visited Hommosassa Springs and took the wilderness tour. It was a 20 minute boat ride to the small zoo.
