My partner and I stayed at this condo over Christmas 2012 and absolutely loved everything about it. I guess it is all about location, location, location because I can't imagine a better location in Florida. The condo was easy to find, not far off the main highways. All windows in the condo face the ocean, whether you are waking up in the morning in the beautiful master bedroom suite or doing dishes in the fully equipped kitchen. It was fairly cool by Florida standards so we were able to keep the sliding glass doors open during our stay (as opposed to having the air conditioning on) and listen to the waves crashing on the shore day and night. What a lovely sound it was! We sat out on the balcony in the evenings and watched people walk by, and the glorious sun set directly in front of us. We were also lucky enough to have a full moon that week, which we were able to see in the wee hours of the morning from our bedroom too! The listing description was accurate regarding all details. The underground parking was convenient and close to the elevator up to the condo for transporting luggage/groceries. The photos were accurate, the property was clean and well-maintained with more than adequate towels, clean sheets and all amenities. The condo is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The hot-tub was awesome, we used it every day after long walks along the endless beach. We also BBQ'd down in the central area and met some very nice people, many also from Ontario like we were. We brought back about 100 interesting shells that we collected along the beautiful clean beach (don't know what I will do with them now that I am home LOL but they are all beautiful; I have never seen so many shells on a beach before). The condo itself was very quiet, other than the waves you couldn't hear neighbours or people or vehicles. Very peaceful. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions. I would definately recommend this property to anyone, be they relatives or friends. We dined at several local restaurants, ranging from the informal Crabby Bills where you can eat crab on picnic tables to some of the more formal places on the "strip" that runs to Clearwater which is only a few miles away. The shopping malls were awesome too, especially for us Canadians that don't have many of the US large chain stores like Macy's etc. and they were all located nearby. We were very sad to leave, could'v easily stayed another week, but hope to return soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at this condo. It was clean, well organized and CLOSE TO THE OCEAN!! We left the balcony doors open at night and listened to the waves. What an amazing way to wake up every morning! We were happy that there was a pack-n-play and high chair available for our use. We also appreciated the sand toys and beach chairs. We are looking forward to coming back for a stay again in the future! What a fantastic week. This condo is beautiful and well located. The decor of the condo is elegant, and the entire place is very clean and well maintained. The facilities such as the communal BBQ and pool area are well situated and everyone is very friendly. The owners are friendly, and communicate honestly and openly with renters and we felt like they were old friends by the time we left. There was some construction going on while we were scheduled to be there and we appreciated the fact we were informed etc before we got there. The master bedroom is very large with full dressers and a walk-in closet, seperate bathroom, as well as patio doors leading to the front balcony. You can see the ocean from the bed. The area itself is very nice and we enjoyed the many restaurants suggested by former renters in the comment book and those recommended by the owners. What we enjoyed most of the condo was the beautiful big balconies with REAL outdoor chairs and loungers, not the usual cheap plastic ones people leave out. We were so impressed ! The afternoon sun poured onto the balcony and we spent many hours on the lounge chairs enjoying the view either with morning coffee, or an afternoon cocktail. I think we spent more time on the front balcony than we did on the beach ! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days tay and look forward to next time. Thank you Sue & Tim !Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Thank you for sharing your condo with my family. This unit really is in the perfect location with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. We didn't want to leave. The unit was clean and the furnishings were attractive and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we did a lot of cooking in the condo. My only suggestion would be to get a larger garbage can for the kitchen. We made do with a spare cardboard box and larger bag. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again. **Please be careful of the stairs at the pool area that go down to the beach/bathrooms. I slipped the first day and hurt my back, and I witnessed others slip on the stairs as well. The condo association should put some no-slip strips on these stairs, since the are often wet and slippery.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and had everything we needed. My favorite part was the master bedroom with access to a balcony that overlooked an unobstructed view of the ocean. I loved listening to the ocean while reading or having breakfast. We even saw dolphins a couple of times. We grilled out on pool deck which was an awesome experience. It was perfect for me and my boyfriend, and had plenty of extra space for a family or another couple. Our stay at Beach Cottage 1 for one week this past month was very enjoyable. The Condo is all that is stated in the description!! A modern kitchen, beautiful living room and comfy beds. The views from the balcony are breathtaking, unbelievable sunsets. The ocean water was warm and the pool area large and inviting. The location was great, close to restaurants and shopping. We had a lovely meal at The Wine Cellar on Gulf Boulevard and going during the Early Bird Specials (before 6) made it even better. We would recommend this Condo and hope to return again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

LOVED the location of this unit as well as Indian shores all together...Great location, great view ! ! We stayed here for a week over the thanksgiving holiday with nothing in mind than relaxing and alittle signtseeing....The beach was perfect as well as the beach toys for our 3 kids (7,5,3)The pool was a BIG hit with the kids as well. The full size washer/dryer was a must for a family of 5 as much laundry was done. The other kitchen amenities were very helpful as we did cook majority of the meals on the premises. We did have a few meals out including Crabby Bills, Coumbia restaurant(in clearwater) and Beaches pizza(redington) all three were a great experience. Clearwater is a short 20-25 minutes north of here were we did a beach day as well as Captain Memo's pirate ship....a MUST with kids. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME STAYING HERE,,, AND IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED. THE OWNERS ARE SO GRACIOUS, AND THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR GUESTS COMFORTS. THEY ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO INFUSE MORE AND MORE INDULGENCES TO MAKE THEIR GUESTS' STAY, BECOME AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. THEY EVEN DO REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND CHANGE-OUTS OF WORN OR TATTERED ITEMS, SO THAT THE GUESTS WILL BE MORE INCLINED TO REALLY FEEL AT HOME. OF COURSE THE LOCATION ON THE BEACH AND THE SPECTACULAR VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW AND DOOR MAKE ONE'S HEART FEEL SAD TO GO HOME.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

We stayed there over a year ago (just got around to the review now). I have never written a review before but know how important they are to read when looking for a place. This condo was clean, nice size and the location...you can't beat it! The beach was HUGE and gorgeous, we went in May and were often the only ones on the big beach. The view at night and the sound of the water.......amazing! Our child was just over a year at the time and they had beach toys there, washer and dryer to wash her clothes. I was so glad this was the place we picked.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Before purchasing this property, we examined many others in the beach areas between St. Pete's Beach and Clearwater, and south through Fort Myers, Naples, all the way the the Florida Keys, and along the Atlantic coast through North Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. This condo has everything we wanted: a wide, white sand beach; nice deck and pool; a quiet, family- oriented building; covered parking; an elevator; and many other great features. Best of all is the condo itself. It's on the third floor overlooking the beach from a wide balcony, plus there's a smaller balcony over the pool deck. The master suite has a huge sliding glass door the main balcony, so we love to leave it open all night and listen to the waves breaking on the beach. It's the best!
