LOVED the location of this unit as well as Indian shores all together...Great location, great view ! ! We stayed here for a week over the thanksgiving holiday with nothing in mind than relaxing and alittle signtseeing....The beach was perfect as well as the beach toys for our 3 kids (7,5,3)The pool was a BIG hit with the kids as well. The full size washer/dryer was a must for a family of 5 as much laundry was done. The other kitchen amenities were very helpful as we did cook majority of the meals on the premises. We did have a few meals out including Crabby Bills, Coumbia restaurant(in clearwater) and Beaches pizza(redington) all three were a great experience. Clearwater is a short 20-25 minutes north of here were we did a beach day as well as Captain Memo's pirate ship....a MUST with kids. Also Fort De Soto was a great day trip about 30 mins south of the property. I will definetly be back as this is a great area.

THIS IS MY SECOND TIME STAYING HERE,,, AND IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED. THE OWNERS ARE SO GRACIOUS, AND THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR GUESTS COMFORTS. THEY ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO INFUSE MORE AND MORE INDULGENCES TO MAKE THEIR GUESTS' STAY, BECOME AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. THEY EVEN DO REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND CHANGE-OUTS OF WORN OR TATTERED ITEMS, SO THAT THE GUESTS WILL BE MORE INCLINED TO REALLY FEEL AT HOME. OF COURSE THE LOCATION ON THE BEACH AND THE SPECTACULAR VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW AND DOOR MAKE ONE'S HEART FEEL SAD TO GO HOME.

Recommended for:Sightseeing.

We stayed there over a year ago (just got around to the review now). I have never written a review before but know how important they are to read when looking for a place. This condo was clean, nice size and the location...you can't beat it! The beach was HUGE and gorgeous, we went in May and were often the only ones on the big beach. The view at night and the sound of the water.......amazing! Our child was just over a year at the time and they had beach toys there, washer and dryer to wash her clothes. I was so glad this was the place we picked.

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Great Time will stay again if in the area.

This unit is top notch. The owners have really gone in and made this unit a home. All furnishings and decorating is very nice. Large master bedroom and bathroom. The property is clean and well maintained. The owner was very prompt in any questions. Cable TV, Free internet, and Phone all plus. Not many restaurants in walking distance. Close grocery stores within 10 min by car. Nice pool area. The pool was always clean and the water warm. This beach is the best. Powder sand and not crowded. Looked at St. Pete and Clear water beach. This beach is so much better. Private beautiful. If you are thinking of going to this area in FL I would highly recommend this unit.

Family of four stayed 6/5-12/10. Beautiful views from master bedroom and balconies. Gulf water and beachfront very nice. Pool was never crowded and plenty of chairs to go around. We experienced spotty internet service and the phone did not work until the last day AND the elevator was broken the entire week except for our last day. It was difficult getting the suitcases and groceries up the stairs. Also, know that beach chairs are regular reclining lawn chairs - very heavy to carry to the beach. Also, there is no tt.v. service in second bedroom - t.v. w/built in DVD player only used to play DVD's. That was a little disappointing to our two kids. Bird sanctuary next door a nice little diversion. Condo was spacious and clean.

Owner response:JDworker- thanks for staying with us and for taking the time to provide a review. The elevator was indeed out of service, and we regret that this impacted on your stay. Elevators require service every few years, and the work is now complete. The phone outage originated at Britehouse Networks and is also a rarity. Our phone package includes free long distance across North America and this is the first service disruption that we have experienced. It's true the the TV is the guest room is simply a DVD playback unit. On the other hand, there's a wide-screen flat panel TV in the living room and we offer an extended cable package for this TV as well as the TV in the master bedroom, and this arrangement seems to work well for most of our guests. We'll investigate the feasibility of adding a cable feed to the guest room in the future. All in all, we work hard to ensure that our unit is as well-equipped and comfortable as possible, since we want our guests to have a great vacation. Hope you'll stay with us again! Tim & Susan

We stayed at this condo for a week at the end of August 09. The previous comments regarding the updates and cleanliness of this property are in fact understated. We had a fabulous time. This beautiful condo feels like home as opposed to a rental property due to the pride of ownership shown by the owners. The little things that one would forget to bring were available. It was amazing to wake up in the morning and open the sliding door to the master suites balcony, hear the sea birds and feel the warm sea breeze as you are getting ready for another beautiful day in Indian Shores. The Gulf water and white sand beach are amazing. The restaurants in the area are wonderful. I can't wait to go back this year.

We have stayed in this condo for the past 6 years. This is the 3rd and VERY BEST owner yet! Views from the condo ar spectacular with full view of the beach and also pool with 2 wonderful balconys.This has been fully redone to exceed your expectations! Owners always available for any issues you may encounter, which are few to none.

We stayed in this condo in November 2009 for 2 weeks and found it to be exrtremely comfortable. It is well equipped and very clean. The bed linen and towels were very good quality. There is plenty of lving space and fabulous view over the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The swimming pool is a very good size and we found plenty of sunbeds for chilling out in the sun. The restaurants around this area are many and varied and the owners have a very well informed guide should you need recommendations. Great facility!

I recently stayed at this condo in Oct/09. I must tell you that the ambiance and decor is very homey, and the amenities within the unit were quite way over the top, with the usual comforts , one would find in their own home, and everything is in new and good condition. The beds were absolutely more comfortable and better than most beds you have in your own home. The linens used on the beds were superior , which made for all the more, in the comforts that one may not expect to have in a rental. The fact that the owners have amped up the little things, like dish soaps,washing products, beach towels and chairs,cleaning products, hair dryers,etc. for the ones that are real fussy , along with new dishes and silverware was just like being at home. I especially liked that there are 3 new flat screens which all have DVD attachements, along with a broad range of movies for all ages to use. AND, LAST, BUT NOT THE LEAST... The location on Gulf Blvd, and the panoramic views from everywhere your eye takes you ,in the condo unit, to inhale the majesty of the Gulf of Mexico sunrises and sunsets especially the shimmering crystal water throughout the day is enough to make you forget the world you left behind. It is sooo peaceful, yet interesting to gaze upon . The balcony and terrace provided me with options at different times of day, for the shade or the direct sun that bathes this beachfront unit. I remember saying to myself many times, that I could almost spit in the ocean from the terrace.(lol) I will definately go back to this unit, and was really glad to have had a great experience and vacation. One last thing, that is important to mention, is the charming, and reasonably priced bistro style eateries that served delicious foods in the neighborhood just made the experience a two thumbs up.!!!

Our experience in Indian Shores was Exceptional. Grocery stores, fruit mkt,beach bars and shopping are all within easy distance. John' Pass is just south of the Cottage's and worth the trip. Tarpon Springs is a very interesting trip and only 1 hr north. The Cottage was very comfortable and lacking in nothing. As listed in vrbo, everything you could need. The complex is very neat & clean- we loved grilling nearly every day in Feb.!! This place is definitly on our list to do again.
