Christmas 2012 Stay in FLA paradise!

My partner and I stayed at this condo over Christmas 2012 and absolutely loved everything about it. I guess it is all about location, location, location because I can't imagine a better location in Florida. The condo was easy to find, not far off the main highways. All windows in the condo face the ocean, whether you are waking up in the morning in the beautiful master bedroom suite or doing dishes in the fully equipped kitchen. It was fairly cool by Florida standards so we were able to keep the sliding glass doors open during our stay (as opposed to having the air conditioning on) and listen to the waves crashing on the shore day and night. What a lovely sound it was! We sat out on the balcony in the evenings and watched people walk by, and the glorious sun set directly in front of us. We were also lucky enough to have a full moon that week, which we were able to see in the wee hours of the morning from our bedroom too! The listing description was accurate regarding all details. The underground parking was convenient and close to the elevator up to the condo for transporting luggage/groceries. The photos were accurate, the property was clean and well-maintained with more than adequate towels, clean sheets and all amenities. The condo is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The hot-tub was awesome, we used it every day after long walks along the endless beach. We also BBQ'd down in the central area and met some very nice people, many also from Ontario like we were. We brought back about 100 interesting shells that we collected along the beautiful clean beach (don't know what I will do with them now that I am home LOL but they are all beautiful; I have never seen so many shells on a beach before). The condo itself was very quiet, other than the waves you couldn't hear neighbours or people or vehicles. Very peaceful. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions. I would definately recommend this property to anyone, be they relatives or friends. We dined at several local restaurants, ranging from the informal Crabby Bills where you can eat crab on picnic tables to some of the more formal places on the "strip" that runs to Clearwater which is only a few miles away. The shopping malls were awesome too, especially for us Canadians that don't have many of the US large chain stores like Macy's etc. and they were all located nearby. We were very sad to leave, could'v easily stayed another week, but hope to return soon!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at this condo. It was clean, well organized and CLOSE TO THE OCEAN!! We left the balcony doors open at night and listened to the waves. What an amazing way to wake up every morning! We were happy that there was a pack-n-play and high chair available for our use. We also appreciated the sand toys and beach chairs. We are looking forward to coming back for a stay again in the future! What a fantastic week. Thank you Sue and Tom.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is beautiful and well located. The decor of the condo is elegant, and the entire place is very clean and well maintained. The facilities such as the communal BBQ and pool area are well situated and everyone is very friendly. The owners are friendly, and communicate honestly and openly with renters and we felt like they were old friends by the time we left. There was some construction going on while we were scheduled to be there and we appreciated the fact we were informed etc before we got there. The master bedroom is very large with full dressers and a walk-in closet, seperate bathroom, as well as patio doors leading to the front balcony. You can see the ocean from the bed. The area itself is very nice and we enjoyed the many restaurants suggested by former renters in the comment book and those recommended by the owners. What we enjoyed most of the condo was the beautiful big balconies with REAL outdoor chairs and loungers, not the usual cheap plastic ones people leave out. We were so impressed ! The afternoon sun poured onto the balcony and we spent many hours on the lounge chairs enjoying the view either with morning coffee, or an afternoon cocktail. I think we spent more time on the front balcony than we did on the beach ! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days tay and look forward to next time. Thank you Sue & Tim !
