GA, USA (1 hour and 45 minutes north of Atlanta) Accommodations: All wood cabin built in 2003, 2 Large Bedrooms, 1 kids bedroom, 3 Baths (Sleeps 8 + crib + toddler bed). Come enjoy this bright, sunny and spacious all wood cabin with fireplace located on 1.3 acres of property that borders the Chattahoochee National Forest. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Tuckahoe Cove on Lake Blue Ridge.
This family friendly home offers 2 master bedroom suites each with jetted garden tubs and it also offers a sleeper sofa in the family room. Relax on the wrap around porch on the main level w/rockers and outdoor eating area or relax on the balcony deck off the 2nd floor for the best view of the lake. The terrace level has a kids bedroom with 2 twin beds, plus the playroom has 2 twin beds. There are miles of dirt/gravel roads and ATV trails ideal for hiking and mountain biking right outside your front door.
This cabin has rustic decor with a stone fireplace (wood), kitchen with island that opens to the family room. See an incredible sunrise over the tops of the trees out the balcony of the master bedroom when you awake. The room also has a ceiling fan, large dresser, spacious closet, two nightstands with reading lamps, and a TV (DirecTv service) with VCR.
On a clear night, see more stars than you’ve ever dreamed possible. There is scenic drive through a gravel road for the last 10 minutes of the ride to the cabin that provide the perfect setting for your outdoor mountain getaway. You will feel very relaxed and away from it all at our cabin, yet going into town or the store is only a 20 minute drive.
You will find the kitchen well stocked with a coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, waffle iron, full set of pots & pans, and cooking utensils. The cabin has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, outdoor gas grill, and a washer and dryer, making it easy to do your laundry. There is a crib for those with a baby, and a toddler bed for a young child. There are family board games for your entertainment. Your stay will be memorable in any season (we love them all) and even in the rain that you will hear on the metal roof.
We have enjoyed this vacation home with our family for the past seven years. We have done our best to ensure this rustic cabin meets the needs of our family and yours, and hope you will stay here year after year!

Why the Owner Chose Morganton
Investment and place to enjoy with our family. Great hiking and opportunities to be in nature. Great location and view of lake and mountains all year round.

Owner's Map of Morganton
My husband and I bought this property when we were newly weds. We enjoy the location, and being outdoors. Seeing the mountains and lake is so peaceful. We love taking family and friends up with us for a get-away from the big city that is still close by and easy for us to get to Lake Blue Ridge. There is so much to do for couples or families: horse back riding, boating, u pick farms, gem mining, camping, hiking, drive in movie theatre, restaurants, antiquing

For the weekend we stayed in your home, it truly felt like a home away from home. Your house had everything possible, all you truly needed was to bring your food & vacation mode with you. We truly, truly enjoyed the "R&R" that the cabin provided. Thank you so much and we look forward to returning here. PS - WE would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin with us! We loved boating on the Lake Blue Ridge. Went for an after dark exploration of the cemetary at the end of the road, full of history. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for everything! Wish we could have stayed longer - like forever! We all had a fabulous time. The views and scenery were spectacular and the cabin is an absolutely wonderful hide-a-way in the woods. We were lucky to be here in the fall at peak leaf changing time. This was definitely one of the more beautiful Fall seasons (all the color were vibrant and just amazing) Thanks again!
