    For the amount of money we paid for our stay, I felt that the accomodations did not match the cost. The number of people it could accomodate did not match with the description. The sofa beds which were to be utilized for sleeping, are very old, and would only be OK for young children. We bought an air mattress to accomodate our older teens. Sugar ants all over the kitchen area. Blinds in the upstairs area desperately needed replacing. Fire alarms went off all night one night, with little help from the onsite maintenance. Air conditioning froze up, my husband was able to identify the problem and fix, when the onsite maintenance could not. Awoke our first night to loud stomping on roof at 4 or 5 am. I guess they pressure wash the walkways and deck which is located on roof above unit. Yikes! We had two vehicles and were told their might be a waiting list for an extra parking spot, we were told once we got there it does not exist. You will have to pay for a spot in one of the nearby lots or garages for vehicles more than one.

    This is the place to stay on the island! Very close to all the action, but far enough away to be a haven. The rooms were more than we expected very clean, comfortable beds and big rooms (website pictures don’t do it justice). The staff recommended great restaurants, helped us rent scooters and generally provided great ideas for activities, they make you feel so welcome!! Lots of restaurants nearby but I really enjoyed the food at the Sunset Tiki Bar and Grille good food (Great Breakfast). We went scuba diving (4 dives), Fishing (80lb White Marlin), rented scooters and walked Duval street without ever getting in a cab. We Will Be Back!!!!!!

    My husband and I have been to Key West many times in the past. This trip was for a family vacation, and this was the perfect place for our family of 8. The condo had pretty much everything we needed. Like someone else mentioned in their review, the furnishings could use a little updating, but we found the condo to be clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the mini blinds upstairs are in need of repair or replacement. Some of them couldn't be adjusted so it was pretty bright in the bedroom. Also, some of the electrical outlets were loose, as our grandkids found out when plugging in their electronic devices. The balcony overlooking the Marina was relaxing, although it would have been nice to have a lounge chair to relax in while enjoying the scenery. But, apparently all of the units in the resort have the same furniture. The resort itself is well kept and the staff helpful and friendly. Roberta was great to deal with and very accommodating. We walked to everything - restaurants and shops on Duval, restaurants around the Marina, Mallory Square, etc. We went parasailing, jet skiing, rented scooters (just for fun), and took a ride on a bi-plane at the airport, which I would highly recommend. We walked to the local grocery store, but found it to be pretty expensive, so we ended up taking a cab to Publix. That was only thing we needed a cab for - except to get to the airport. I would definitely recommend this condo, and we will likely return for another stay.

    The atmosphere at the Galleon is outstanding! Walking distance to everything except the noise! The accommodations were well above my expectations. Very comfy and the staff attentive and helpful! Coffee on the balcony each morning made me feel, albeit for a brief moment, like Ernest Hemmingway must have felt everyday as he watched the same sun rise wishing he had avoided that last libation the night before. I stayed here last spring with some close friends and one individual that wasn't too friendly. He got his when we went fishing, though. The seas were choppy and while this individual purported himself as if paradise was old hat, his stomach had another opinion!!! I hope to be back again and again!

    We stayed at this unit Jan 28-Feb 4 2012. I have stayed at this resort for the last 5 years. This particular unit was by far the very best of the best! The resort does have rather dated furniture, however everything else it offers is so outstanding that you never give it a second thought. Roberta and the Owner were great to deal with. We really enjoyed our family trip and can not wait to return. If you are on the fence about your choice, don't worry any more, this is a perfect place to stay. Tiki bar, pool bingo (we even won $170 one day), dining on site, and within walking distance to everywere we wanted to go. Great job Roberta,Thank you for making our family vacation the best it has ever been in Key West.

    My husband and I stayed at this property for my first visit to Key West. This condo was everything I had hoped for and more. The ocean view was breath taking. The entire condo was extremely clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for hanging out, a full kitchen with everything you need and a tv in each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms beautifully updated. The employees at the property were very helpful and courteous. The location of the property was perfect. Secluded just enough with a short walk to lots of fun on Duvall Street. I would recommend this condo to any friend or relative looking to go to Key West!

    Stayed in the efficiency room. Plenty of room for 2 people. Great location with pool overlooking the water. Tiki bar prices a bit high. Overall a great place to stay.

    Our group of 4 adults spent Sunday 8-28-2011 through Thursday 9-1-2011. This is an excellent place to stay. The view from the balcony was facing the harbor with all of the boats and was very relaxing. You could see the sunrise each morning! This property was clean and very convenient to restaurants on the water or just two blocks from Duval Street. The pool at The Galleon was nice. The Tiki Bar at The Galleon has a great bartender named Steve.... The beach on the Gulf was small but that is just how it is in Key West. The staff were friendly contrary to what I had read by other posters about The Galleon. The owner/property manager was very easy to work with. We would return to this property again...and hope to do so soon!

    We stayed in this unit from July 30 - August 6, 2011. Loved it! Everything was great and the location perfect. The unit was very well kept and the master bathroom wonderfully updated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the busy marina below. We felt like we had the best of both worlds - out on some evenings for the great Key West night life and on other nights just relaxing in the unit with a home cooked meal. The washer and dryer were wonderful and so convenient to have in the unit. Thank you Roberta for a great vacation! We hope to return again next year.

    Roberta did a wonderful job by putting us in the Galleon. We stayed there 1/8-1/12 2009. The unit was spacious, clean and centrally located. The pool and tiki bar were very relaxing and we were a 2 minute walk from Duval, we did not have to drive anywhere during our stay! I would definitely recommend Robert Mira and would stay at the Galleon again! I miss the warm weather. Joe Musca
