This is a beautiful and unique log cabin built in 1954 rustic and cozy on the outside and completely renovated on the inside. The upstairs has two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen and living room with a wood burning fireplace. Beautiful lake views from the eating bar and living room. Sliding glass door opens on to an expansive deck where you will enjoy outdoor eating and cooking on a gas BBQ in the evenings. The downstairs level has two additional bedrooms, one bath, a small kitchenette, a workout room and a family room with a gas fireplace. The two levels are great for a two family rental or for adult living upstairs and children downstairs it can be used as two separate private living areas.
Sleeping areas: Master Queen (2), Bedroom #1 Twin Beds (2), Bedroom #2 Bunk Bed and Twin (3), Bedroom #3 Queen (2). Total Beds and bedding provided for 9. Can accommodate with rollaway (1) with bedding provided which will be set up in the family room. Additionally, there is room for an additional 2 persons or air-beds in workout room, bedroom floors or family room - Total maximum occupancy (12). (Bedding /Sleeping bags and air beds not provided for occupancy exceeding 10).
This house sets at the top of a long lot which provides both lake and mountain views. Its a nice walk down to the lake over an expansive lawn where you can play badminton, lawn bowling, soccer and croquet. The beach access is flat and sandy (no stairs or rocks) this is a special beach area on a cove with a private dock, buoy, kayak and paddle boat provided. Lake Almanor is great for water skiing and wake boarding. Jet skis and boats can be rented nearby. Afternoon breezes often provide good sailing or sail boarding. Early morning fishing includes salmon, rainbow trout, and bass.
There are three nearby golf courses - Lake Almanor Country Club, Lake Almanor West and Bailey Creek. Tennis and basketball courts at the Recreation Area located within the Country Club. If you have been to Lake Almanor you know it is one of our best kept secrets. If you make this your vacation this year you will return again and again.
