Come stay at this home in the Oceanside luxury gated community Buck Island. It is a short stroll (<1500 feet)to everything - the beach, Tim Buck II and Food Lion shopping areas, mini-golf, bumper cars, movies, great restaurants, wine tastings, best bagels on the beach, shopping, etc.

Once you are arrive, you can park your car and relax! The house is professionally designed and furnished with your comfort in mind. It includes four master bedrooms with TVs, private pool, hot tub, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen (all new appliances in 2009), surround sound stereo system and WI-FI.

Our home includes an open great room, dining room, eat-in kitchen where you can enjoy each other while cooking meals or playing games. There is also a den with tv/dvd on the mid-level to share. Sit on the mid level deck and enjoy the quiet looking out onto a green area. Or sit in the fenced in pool area and enjoy the pool and hot tub with outside shower.

Community amenities include an Olympic size swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis courts, new playground less than 1/2 a block away, and beach Cabana where you can rent umbrellas and buy snacks at the beach. A parking lot and outside showers/bathrooms are available at the ocean walkway. Walk along the tree lined streets and enjoy the turtles and birds that are around the various ponds in the neighborhood.

  • I actually stayed during the off-peak season, just as the weather was getting cooler. It was great...as it was within walking distance of a bunch of shops and restaurants (sit down, plus quick places, e.g the bagel place). Even though I didn't make it to the beach it was a great place to relax/ unwind for a weekend, make some great meals in the large kitchen (good entertaining house), and hear the waves in the background. I would definitely rent this place again.

  • I had the opportunity to stay at this home several times and each time it was wonderful. The close proximity to the beach and to the grocery, shops and Lighthouse Bagel's makes the vacation even more relaxing. The home is outfitted with all of the things needed for a fun vacation. The hot tub and pool add to the kid friendly atmosphere and enhance the stay. The beach, just a short walk away, is the best on the Outer Banks! The dolphin watching and shelling are increadible! I highly recommend renting this home. It is the best!!!

  • Our stay at Harmony's Haven was absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful - clean - comfortable. As advertised, we were able to park our car and enjoy the convenience of the grocery store and many great restaurants, shopping and the beach available within a short walking distance. We enjoyed having the private pool and hot tub. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to staying again.

  • This house is amazing! Very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The layout was perfect for our two family's to just kick back and enjoy all that the home and Buck Island has to offer. We really enjoyed the pool! Any required beach gear (toys for the kids, chairs, umbrella) is right there for your use. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the many fine restaurants in Buck Island. The grocery store is just around the corner which is a definate plus. I can't wait to go back!
