You are a short drive or bike ride to picturesque downtown Venice. Venice is known as the Shark's Tooth Capital of the World. It is also known for its quaint ambiance, many restaurants and shops. The Venice Theatre with constantly changing performances is also close by. Venice also has several art galleries and is close to Sarasota which is known for its devotion to the Arts, including the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Sarasota Opera, the Asolo Playhouse and the Ringling Museum, to name just a few. Plus Sarasota has a restaurant for every taste! You are also about a two hour drive to Orlando.
