Kiawah Island is located approximately 30 minutes from historic Charleston, South Carolina. It is a private gated resort community which offers over 10 miles of pristine beach. It has been listed on the Travel Channel's top USA beaches. Kiawah Island visitors also will enjoy over 30 miles of bike & walking paths, a multitude of family recreational activities, access to five championship golf courses and two tennis villages. Kiawah Island is renowned for its natural beauty and preserved wildlife. There is entertainment for the entire family including Camp Kiawah for young kids.
Our cottage is adjacent to beautiful Night Heron Park which offers many amenities including a nature center, large swimming pool, basketball courts and acres of open space. You will feel at home in our newly renovated spacious three bedroom, two bath unit which sleeps 6-8 people. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the third bedroom. Each bedroom has it own television.
Come enjoy the wonderful screened porch which overlooks the lagoon. You can read or a book or simply enjoy the remarkable wildlife which is in constant motion around the lagoon. The beach is approximately 3 blocks from the cottage.
We are available year round. During the summer, we normally require a Saturday to Saturday stay, but during the off season, we offer special long weekend rates. You may want to inquire about special multiple week or monthly winter rates.

The home was very well-maintained, clean and offered all the amenities teenagers and parents could want. Access to the beach was easy and very close by foot or bike. The weather in late December this year was warm enough to play hoops a block away at Night Heron Park, home also to the Nature Center. Tennis, kayaking and shopping are all within a bike ride away. The natural surroundings of the property and neighborhood were positively ideal for quiet time and for just listening to the rolling surf just a short distance away. We would heartily recommend staying here to anyone and hope we can visit ourselves again soon.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The place is amazing. The kitchen has more than your own at home and the cottage is really nicely decorated. The family room even has games in the entertainment unit and because the floors are wood, the sand you bring in from the beach can be easily swept up! I didn't want to leave.....The location to the pool, beach, offices - pretty much everything - has to be the best on the island. Larry is really easy to work with - and is so nice to answer every small question. You won't be disappointed and you will be counting your days until you can go back. The back porch is even in the perfect location overlooking the bike bath and little river.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us in Kiawah. The cottage was lovely, very well maintained and super clean. The location was great. It is a block from Night Heron pool and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Larry was a pleasure to work with. He made it so easy to rent this property and communication was excellent. Thanks again for a great location to vacation. We really enjoyed getting away to such a quiet and tranquil place.

I just returned from a stay at this delightful cottage. The beach was only a couple of blocks away, there was a beautiful park where we played basketball and a walking trail that we used every day. An evening out in Charleston was a just short drive away. I found the modern kitchen nicer than my own and we could enjoy our meals there or at the spacious dining room table. The master bedroom/bath was spacious and comfortable, updated and modern. The other two bedrooms were joined together by the second bath and were very convenient and private. I would stay here again and would recommend this cottage to all my friends and family.
