If you want to experience Hawaii on a "Dime", this is the place for you. Oceanview Estates is one of the most unique locations in, frankly, the world, situated directly upon an 1890s lava flow which was developed into 11,000 lots.
The home is located mid-way between Kona and Hawaii volcano national park. This location is within a 1/2 hour drive from captain cook's bay, which has some of the most incredible kayaking, snorkeling, and sightseeing in the world.
Other close by locations, accessible for day trips, are Hilo, Hawaii Volcano National Park, South Point [southern most point in the United States], green sand beach, white sand beach, Mauna Kea [13,000 feet with observatories], and the islands ever active volcano, Kilauea.
The home is a three bedroom, 2 bath island home decorated in tropical style. It is located about 1/2 way up the development, on a private and secluded circle. It is some 5 or so miles to the main road and several more miles to a beach, however, once on route 11, the road that traverses between Kona and Hilo, you can travel, in short time, anywhere on the big island. The home also includes a full kitchen and has a large lot for plenty of parking.
The home can be reserved for any length of time. Rentals of one week or less require a refundable $250 security deposit and all utilities are included. Rentals in excess of one week require a refundable $500 security deposit and utilities are deducted from the security deposit. Rentals in excess of one month may require a higher security deposit, depending on the number of people using the home. Rental of one month or more are given a 20% discount. All rentals require a non-refundable $150 cleaning deposit.

$85/night .. $450/week .. $1400/month - 20% discount for 1 month or more
For rentals of one week or less, requires a refundable security deposit of $250.
For rentals of greater than one week, requires a refundable security deposit of
