Once again, another great vacation! Our condo was sunny, bright, and well cared for. We especially liked the fact that it was on the first floor making it easily accessible to outside. We found the kitchen well equipped to eat/dine in if we chose. However, the area restaurants beckoned more often than not. We particularly liked the close proximity to the beautiful beach, as we looked forward to our daily walks. Each year we find more and more to explore and enjoy. Looking forward to 2013!!!

We stayed over July 4th, and it was great. The place is clean, and the pool access is great for the kids. Being on the ground level made it seem even bigger. Thanks again, and we look forward to the next trip.

The 1st floor location allows you to walk out of the screened lanai and set up your barbecue after a great day at the beach or golfing. The shared Champion pool is steps away. Great Vacation

We recently stayed for 2 weeks at this beautiful condo at Sea Trail Resort. It was our first trip to Sunset Beach and we had a great time. The pictures and the description of the condo are very accurate. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The condo was clean and well maintained. Gene was very helpful in answering our questions before our arrival. We were met by Marty when we arrived, and he provided all the information we needed. The location was wonderful. Myrtle Beach was only about 30 minutes and we enjoyed the shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The restaurants around Sunset Beach that were suggested to us were excellent. It was a GREAT vacation and we highly recommend this beautiful condo. Looking forward to spending more enjoyable holidays here.

Great accommodations for golfers

The condo was wonderful, March weather was great, so we used the lanai for happy hour.+++ I believe the cleaning could have been done better. Kitchen clean but carpets could probably have used a steam cleaning. There was no proper sponge mop or pail to use for doing kitchen and bathrooms. We have recommended the unit and they are coming in when we leave next March. Restaurants: Sugar Shack, Nakato, Bone Fish and Carrabas

Owner response:Renters, if an item is missing or broken please contact me. The unit is supplied with a cotton mop/pail, broom/dust pan, upright sweeper, iron/ironing board, and hair dryers for renter’s convenience. I will put a sponge mop in the unit. The carpets were cleaned in the fall. They will be cleaned again. I’m glad the monthly renters enjoyed their vacation and I am looking forward to their return in March 2012 and their friends in April 2012.

Our February Vacation

We had a great time at Sunset Beach. Even though we don't golf, we love the beautiful beach, and walk it every day.. There is so much to do. This was our fourth year and the second in your condo. We especially enjoy being on the first floor as it is not as confining as the second and third. We still have many restaurants to visit. Our social life is great as we have many friends and acquaintances in the area. There are many historic places to visit: Southport, Georgetown, Charlestown, etc. The condo itself is light and airy, with plenty of room and is located centrally for all our activities. We look forward to our return trip in February 2012....

Golfer + Beach lover

We were very happy with the condo, exactly as pictures showed. We stayed for a month and brought some of our own cooking equipment and loved it. Very comfortable unit and would come here again. The beds were great, even after a month. Gene was so helpful with internet connections, as I am not a wiz with wi-fi, he went out of his way to make me comfortable with how to connect and that was so terrific. Relaxing week at the beach!

Very affordable condo rental, really a great price for everything you get. The pictures don't give this place enough credit. Very spacious and clean. Gene even went out of his way to book in sunday to sunday for us, since we couldn't make it there by saturday. The condo was full of helpful pamphlets, maps, and restaurant menus to help us out. We were happily surprised at just how close the pool was, and it even had a baby pool too. Lots of of good restaurants in the area (Calabash, Ocean Isle, Myrtle Beach) and the 30 minute trip to myrtle beach was perfect for a fun evening or two. I would definitely recommend this place to others! I also would stay there at least two weeks in the future!

Last Summer Vacation

Our family decided to take a last minute vacation before school started back. Gene was so wonderful in helping us with the last minute details. Literally, we spoke with him late morning and was in the condo late afternoon. The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family getaway.

Summer at the Beach

Gene your place was just as advertised. It was beautiful, and clean. Often times when searching on line the pictures over sell and when you get there you are disappointed. But not in this case the pictures really give an accurate view of your lovely home. The Sunset Beach area was beautiful and quiet. Very relaxing yet we were close enough to Myrtle Beach if we wanted excitement. Marty your on site manager was very helpful with directions, shortcuts, and recomendations. Spot on on all his ideas!!! Great vacation in Sunset Beach

We spend two full weeks in this condo located by the Byrd golf course at Sea Trail. We were there with our 2 kids and they enjoyed it as much as we did. Location is fantastic. Golf courses everywhere around and the most beautiful beach of the Eastern Cost just 1.5 miles from the condo. We even made it it bikes one day. There is a pool 30 seconds away from the condo and it was never too crowded during our stay. The interior of the condo is very nice and well maintained with all the necessary equipement for a long stay (dishwasher, washer and dryer). If you're thinking of a long stay, you're a foodie and you want to cook, you may want to bring some of your own small equipment (chef knive, head blender, etc.). Otherwise, It was a very nice stay. We are recommend it, especially for families!

my son and i just returned from a week of golfing. we stayed at genes villa in seatrails resort. the villa was just as his website described.i could not have asked for a more luxurious,spacious and spotlessly clean unit.being a first time renter using the vrbo website i found gene to be extremely helpful and professional in walking me through the whole process.

My family (wife and 2 girls) loved our stay! The condo was beautiful and very clean. Nicely decorated with all of the kitchen items we would need. The linen service was great. Also, the property manager (Marty) met us as soon as we arrived and gave us great information about the condo, Sea Trail, nearby restaurants and things to do. We took advantage of the quiet setting for morning and evening walks, while the kids enjoyed the amenities of the condo. Gene was great in providing information about the condo and he was very good to work with in booking the trip. Great trip!! We loved it!

We had a wondeful time at Sunset Beach. It is spacious, clean, and not over-crowded. It was our first time there and I'm sure we will return. The villa was immaculate and met all of our needs and more, we couldn't be more satisfied. The pool adjacent to the unit was wonderful. Gene was great to work with and was very gracious in allowing us to stay an extra night. Marty was also very nice and was extremely helpful, including giving us great tips on where to eat! The Sea Trail resort community is beautiful and we would definitely stay there in the future. We played the Jones course but each golf course at Sea Trail is beautiful. The Byrd course was under repair during our stay so it was somewhat disappointing not to be able to relax with a drink on the porch and watch play on the 16th hole, but that was just a minor disappointment. Overall, we had a great vacation and we definitely recommend this unit to other vacationers.

We returned Sat afternoon after spending a wonderful week at Sea Trail in your beautiful unit. Rich was very helpful and stopped by on Fri night to get the key and your Gold card. The water temp was about 80 and Sunset Beach is a great family spot. We spent each morning at the ocean and the later afternoon at the pool. Thanks so much for the use of the Gold card because we didn't always arrive at the pool with our grandchildren. We would definitely recommend Sea Trail to our friends and will continue to visit that area. I think you did a terrific job decorating your villa and it was so easy to maintain. Thanks again and we'll keep you in mind if we need to rent in that area again

throughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful and immaculately maintained condo.fabulous views of the golf course and enjoyed sitting outside on the porch soaking up the sunshine.kept very active between golfing on the well maintained greens,swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools,exercising in the fully-equipped spotless gym.Excellent restaurants,beaches and shopping close by.will definitely return.
