Our stay here was very relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. With the special touches Caroline does, it makes you feel at home. The fresh eggs, fruit and little "extras" were all wonderful. We were able to bring our two small dogs along. There were even "treats" especially for them to enjoy. There are several places to shop with a number of restaurants in Santa Fe. While we were there we toured Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Taos. Thank you again Caroline for everything.

This was our first trip to New Mexico. We absolutely loved this charming casita. It was perfect. Quiet and welcoming and we always had fresh eggs to eat. Caroline the owner was fantastic. She took care of us like her own family. Caroline even gave us her gps for the week. Best place to stay.

We had a fantastic five days in Santa Fe. The lodgings were wonderful -- kitchen for breakfasts, cosy fireplace and an expansive studio to stretch out in and relax. Caroline was the consummate landlady -- flowers, eggs, and fruit greeted us on our arrival and we would return each day to an immaculate clean apartment.

October in NM

I have visited Santa Fe and New Mexico several times during short vacations and work related purposes, and decided a longer stay was in order to fully appreciate the region. After reading all prior reviews and viewing photos of the property, I decided to stay at Caroline's casita for the entire month of October, hoping the positive experiences of others would play out for a month. As it turned out, the casita is a very comfortable long-term destination that is perfectly situated for day trips around central and northern NM. My wife originally planned on joining me the entire visit, but work kept her at home most of the time. My brother and I drove from Florida to NM hauling two motorcycles for what turned out to be outstanding riding in the San Juan, Jemez, and Sandia mountains. The weather for riding was great and my brother loved his week on the bike and at Caroline's casita. My friend Larry joined me a week later and the weather was still very comfortable for riding in the middle of October, and he also was very complimentary of the casita. My wife finally arrived for the final week of the stay, and we managed one ride before the weather changed. She raved about Caroline's property and the casita. As for me, the entire month was a joy. Caroline readily accommodated the comings and goings of my party, as well as my pickup truck, two motorcycles, and a trailer--all at a very affordable monthly rate. I'll defiinitly return and take our Labrador Retriver on the next trip.

This was one of our best vacations! Caroline made us feel very welcome. It was a short trip to downtown Sante Fe, but the location is quiet and very comfortable. Caroline provided beautiful flowers, fresh eggs and fresh homegrown tomatoes. She also provided numerous magazines about Sante Fe as well as tell us her favorite places.

We have been staying at this wonderful guest house with our 3 doxies for almost 5 years. Caroline gives the utmost attention to detail from fresh flowers, breakfast foods for at least 48 hours to get you started, and a comfortable casual home away from home. 10 minutes from the Plaza, on 2.5 acres with a gurgling pond and fish, open space for walking and the biggest view of the Sky and Sangres anywhere, make this an ideal place to actually feel like you live in Santa Fe rather than being a tourist. Also, Caroline knows all the "in spots" as far as restaurants and galleries.

Caroline's place was clean, quiet and nicely furnished. The fresh flowers, eggs and fruit, coffee, tea, and numerous others things were amenities we did not except. The views were nice and the house had easy access to Highway 599. It was 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Santa Fe. We enjoyed the evenings on the patio.

Warm, welcoming hostess - excellent amenities for two - lots of little "extras" that make it 'home'. Perfect quiet, secluded, beautiful surroundings. wonderful place to rejuvenate and still be a short drive to all the amenities Santa Fe has to offer. We highly recommend this place - and would go back at any opportunity.

...this year New Mexico...everything was GREAT! The accomidations were great. I would recommend this site to everyone. The property was easy to find and very clean. Everything we wanted to do was within driving distance. Take the train from the 559 location and travel to Albuquerque one day (your train ticket lets you ride the bus for free) visited the zoo, botanic garden, and the aquarium by bus. Next day drove to ABQ to the Sanda Peak Tramway...the Tram ride was excellent. Loved the Santa Fe Market, and the trip to Taos to visit the Taos Pueblo & Rio Grande George Bridge.

My mother and I pick a vacation spot each year; this year she chose Santa Fe, NM which turned out to be awesome because instead of coming in each night to a hotel room we stayed here where we were made to feel right at home. All the pictures and information listed is correct and true; unlike many other places we have stayed. Caroline was great to talk to and give you any information you need for your trip to the area. It was so nice to hang out on the patio in the evenings after sight seeing all day. Thanks again Caroline.
