Relaxing Week in Brigantine

What a relaxing week we had in Brigantine the week of 8/13-20. The condo was just perfect: clean, quiet location, never a problem parking. The best feature for us, though, was the easy access to the beach, esp. since my husband is recovering from back surgery and uses a cane...just a short, easy walk from the front door, thru the dunes walkway and we were on the beach! We didn't need to pack & carry lunch to the beach, just our drinks & snacks. It was so convenient returning to the condo to relax and eat, taking a break from the sun, then returning to the beach later. After dinner, we would enjoy our ice cream while sitting on the deck, overlooking the ocean...what a view! I'm an early riser, so I would let my husband sleep-in and I would take the short walk to the Hot Bagels & More Cafe on Brigantine Ave., (a block past the Wawa where I would pick up the morning newspaper) taking my i-Pad since the cafe offers free wi-fi, enjoy my coffee/pastry or egg sandwich; such a relaxing way to start the day. Right across the street is Joe's Seafood Market Grocery Store, where you can pick up groceries, fresh meats, deli lunch meats, rolls at reasonable prices...no need to find a grocery chain. On our last nite, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Laguna Grill restaurant, overlooking the ocean, which offers free valet parking--it is a bit pricy, but definitely worth it! We were fortunate enough to be in Brigantine the week of the Atlantic City Air Show, so we took the Brigantine Taxi to Atlantic City (only $14) cheaper than paying for parking and getting stuck in traffic, or even worse lost! The cab drivers were courteous and very prompt. I recommend this lovely condo without hesitation; it is also a plus that you deal one-on-one with the owner, who was a real gem to work with!

The best of both worlds

We stayed the week of 4th of July...we wanted a quiet place to rest and relax on the beach and yet we love the casinos which were only 5 minutes away ...This place is clean, comfortable and quiet..We got up early every morning and walked on the beach which is right out the door through the dunes....Came back and made our breakfast in the lovely kitchen that had everything...We ate our breakfast on the decks while we looked at the beautiful view of the ocean. After breakfast we would sit on the beach, read our kindles and take a swim until lunch.. for lunch we would either walk to a restaurant in Brigatine or explore the area around Atlantic City and beyond. Then back to the beach after lunch or a bike ride...so many things to do...At night we would eat out or eat in and take a walk to get a drink, or go to the casinos early for dinner and a show. We have decided this is our place to vacation...you can have your quiet beach place and also the excitement of Atlantic City all in one vacation...And it is so close to Philadelphia that we actually spent the day there...What a wonderful vacation! We put in for next year already!

We had a delightful visit on May 23rd to Memorial Day. The condo is right on the beach , its clean , beautiful , airy and plenty of parking. The condo is perfect for two but could definitely accommodate three. We went to a show/dinner in Atlantic City. The cab was actually cheaper than to park so we cabbed it and the driver was so friendly and gave us some excellent places to eat in AC. We also had a great breakfast at the Pirates Den ... just a few blocks away. You can walk everywhere...no need to drive! Already have my week booked for August!!!

We just came back from a fabulous week in Brigantine (Sept. 4-11). This condo is lovely. Very clean & airy. Perfect for a couple. Very quiet small complex. Short walk to the beach thru the dunes. The owner was a joy to deal with. We highly recommend this unit.
