This spacious and beautiful home, built in 2004, sits on 1 acre in the majestic pine trees of the Black Forest of northern Colorado Springs. It boasts a balcony looking out into the woods and has enough seating for 12. Only a half-mile up the road, is the Fox Run Regional Park which has two ponds, a gazebo, large meadows for playing sports, two playground areas, two trails through the woods for hiking, and a picturesque view of Pikes Peak.
You are sure to be comfortable in one of the five bedrooms, the well-lit living room or the basement family room. Your competitive spirit will come alive in the game room where you can enjoy a friendly game of ping pong or basketball shoot-out. If you would rather, take your game outside and play a game of hoops on the 24' x 30' court in the cool, mountain air.
Your vacation home is situated in the peaceful woods, yet is only 2 miles off of I-25 and gives you the amenities of a large grocery store and Wal-Mart five minutes away. This up-scale home is ideal for attending Academy events or for exploring other area attractions including Garden of the gods, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, Focus on the Family Visitor Center, or the Colorado Springs and Denver areas.

We purchased this home when it was in the initial ground-breaking phase from the custom builder who was building it as a spec home. We loved the open floor plan, the proximity to Fox Run Regional Park, the beautiful treed setting, and the quick access to so many things. We love it here and we think you will enjoy it too!

We stayed in this lovely home for 5 days at the end of September, 2011 to attend a wedding at the Garden of the Gods. We had such a wonderful time and there were 9 of us from Wisconsin, Florida, Tennessee and California who stayed there; all relatives. It is a very spacious home and we enjoyed the scenery while sitting on the back deck. It was very clean and loved the "ice maker". We grilled Wisconsin brats on the grill and watched the "Packers" play on Sunday. All in all, great home and would like to thank the owners for sharing it with us.

Our family (6 adults & 2 children ages 5 & 6) had a terrific stay in this home. Everything about the rental far exceeded our expectations....squeaky clean kitchen & baths......comfortable beds with wonderful linens.....plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was completely appointed with every dish or pan we needed. The kids had such fun in the game room, playing tetherball, and climbing in the tree house. Sitting on the upper deck or lower patio, one would never suspect we were only 10 minutes from shopping, restaurants and I-25, making it an ideal location to enjoy the sites in and around Colorado Springs. The marathon runner in our group had an early morning run in the open space about 1/2 mile from the house. Misty was a pleasure to work with! We would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Our large group (14 adults + 2 small children) found the house to be plenty large enough so we were not in each others way. The house was pleasantly decorated and very tidy. The game room & toys were a hit during the little down time we had. The deck was an added bonus and we did spend a fair amount of time out there enjoying the fresh Colorado air or eating outside. Misty was a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this home, especially for families with children! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was in excellent condition, very nicely decorated, and worked great for our group (3 families - 6 adults & 7 children). The older kids (12, 9, 5 & 3) loved the game room, toys, and family friendly movies, and it was super easy to take care of the younger ones (22 month old twins & 8 months) since the home was "clutter-free." The home is very comfortable and definitely feels like a home away from home! Our family was able to relax and just enjoy our time together. The location is about 5-10 minutes from supermarkets and restaurants and about 40 minutes to the Manitou Springs sites. The nearby park has some great mountain views. Misty was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this home, especially for families with children!

The home was perfect for the 8 adults and 3 children. It was clean and well maintained. There was room to spread out and yet room to eat and play games together. We could see the sights and be back to the house in a short while for meals or rest. It was exactly like it was shown in photos and described. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Colorado Springs.

My wife and I have taken holidays with our friends in US for many years. This was our first time in Colorado. The location was excellent for many superb days out. The property was in first class condition with a fully fitted kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We would definitely recommend this property.

Our son was married at the USAF Academy and we spent the week at this Vacation Home. The home is awesome and well taken care of. The owners are easy to communicate and give great instructions. I enjoyed the lay out of the home and especially the location. It's located in a quiet area and on a corner lot with lots of room. I'm glad we picked this home and would do so again.

Everything was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our stay here so very much! Misty was great working with us on dates - I felt she went out of her way to accomadate us. She is also very promt about answering calls and emails. The beds are all very comfortable - top notch. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes - nothing has been left out. I would highly recommend this house to all my friends and family. We had a total of three familes staying here (6 adults and 1 child) - there was more than enough room to spread out and be comfortable. Our security deposit was returned promptly (it nearly beat us home).

Our multi-generation family enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house is very nice, comfortable, spacious, very clean, restful and worked well for our family configuration. You have a wonderful home. Large, clean and spacious. We had three families staying here and there was enough room to hold family dinners for our soccer team of 15 girls. Kitchen had every utensil or item we could have ever needed. Great entertainment provided for all ages. The little kids especially enjoyed the tree house with slide. Ping Pong and basketball game were big hit with all guest. The internet was a big bonus for us. There was enough parking for everyone and very close to the Air Force Academy. Thank You for allowing us in your home and we would love to return for a family vacation one day.
