Our large Gigondas Paris short-term apartment rental is located on the Left Bank in the center of Paris, measures over 2,000 square feet, has the feel of a luxury ocean liner of the 1930s with its vaulted wooden ceilings, vast array of windows, and large patio. Located on the fifth and sixth floors of a modern building across the street from the beautiful gardens of Champ de Mars, it features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and awesome views of the Eiffel Tower from the kitchen, through skylights in the living room, and from three of the bedrooms!
Ride the large elevator to the 5th floor (6th American) and enter our Paris short-term apartment rental to a small entryway with a small bedroom straight ahead and the stairway leading up to the main floor on the right. This small bedroom has a single bed facing a French door, a small balcony for stepping out and enjoying the views, and a small en-suite bathroom with a shower and sink. A toilet is located just outside the bedroom in an adjacent water closet. Walk up a short flight of stairs and prepare to be overwhelmed. Awaiting you is an enormous living and dining room with stunning vaulted wooden ceilings, skylights, large windows in every direction, and a large patio sitting outside walls of glass. Unlike any Paris short-term apartment rental we’ve ever seen, the sun streams through the large windows and skylights, flooding this expansive apartment in natural light and providing views that are sure to turn your stay in Paris into memories of a lifetime. As you crest the stairway, the spacious living and dining room opens ahead and to the right, with the large and impressive kitchen off the back of this room to the right. At the top of the stairs to the left is a long built-in bar with four form-fitting barstools extending along the hallway that leads to the back bedrooms. The patio sits beyond the glass wall opposite the bar, with another glass wall of the patio facing the living room. A third glass wall of this patio faces one of the bedrooms. The bar is an artistic masterpiece and a convivial meeting point for champagne and aperitifs at the end of a long day of sightseeing. It is tiled in traditional dark blue French tiles, trimmed in black, and topped with an array of suspended modern light fixtures. Up behind the bar sits a raised alcove that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view through the skylights. Custom cushions make it an ideal place to read, relax, and enjoy the views through the skylights. Children love to use it as a play area and at night it’s hard to get them away from their special corner. Opposite the bar is a glass door opening onto the large private terrace of our Paris short-term apartment rental, a real piece de resistance, as terraces of this size are extremely rare in Paris. It is surrounded on three sides by glass walls and features an array of tables, chairs, trees, and shrubbery. The spacious living and dining room of our Paris short-term apartment rental has beautiful oak parquet floors, vaulted wood ceilings with skylights, and fashionably comfortable sofas and stuffed chairs surrounding a decorative fireplace. It’s simply delightful to gaze out through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows at the patio and rooftop gardens of the upscale apartment building across the street. For your entertainment, find a CD stereo and a flat screen cable TV (CNN, CNBC, ETC.) with dual-standard DVD player. Find a second flat screen TV and dual standard DVD player in bedroom 2, so children can watch a movie while adults are enjoying a glass of wine together in the living room. Our Paris short-term apartment rental also features high-speed Internet access so you can download emails and work while admiring the views. The long oval dining table of aluminum and sandblasted glass adds a modern look and seats up to nine people in dining chairs upholstered in beige suede fabric. Cook to your heart’s content in the large kitchen tiled in yellow French tiles with modern white cabinets and a wall of windows with close-up views of the Eiffel Tower. Wait until nightfall when the magic light show starts every hour on the hour for 10 minutes and everyone will want to help with the dishes. Very large by Parisian standards and containing a built-in table and two chairs for quick meals, the kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso maker, drip coffee pot, four-burner stove, toaster, tons of cabinets, serving dishes, and everything you need for preparing gourmet meals. The four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms on this level are also a delight. You’ll find all of them to be exquisitely decorated and luxuriously appointed. We provide the highest quality Pillowtop® mattresses by Sealy® as well as the finest linens and towels that money can buy. Adding to the luxury of this Paris short-term apartment rental is a separate laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and drying rack.
