This romantic air conditioned one BR apartment sleeps four and features French doors and balconies in the living room and bedroom, with views of the golden dome of the Invalides from the bedroom. From the dining room, enjoy direct views of the ancient Clock Tower from the kitchen. It is located in the heart of the 7th arrondissement in the heart of Paris, only two blocks from the Eiffel Tower and three blocks from the romantic Seine river. Live like a Parisian in the village-like atmosphere of the 7th, surrounded by market streets, cafés, shops and bistros.
Step into this charming Paris rental! There are balconies in the living room and bedroom so you can step out and enjoy morning views in Paris over the rooftops and towards the golden dome of the Invalides Church, where Napoleon is buried. Enjoy the village-like feel of 7th arrondissement, where you are surrounded by cafés and restaurants. Not only that, but you are walking distance to many Paris monuments and landmarks, including two blocks to the Eiffel Tower.
Take the elevator to the 7th floor. Enter to find powder room immediately to your right and living room straight ahead. The style is contemporary and classic with beautiful chandeliers and antiques. Our guests love the fact that it combines modern, quality furniture with antiques.

The living room is flooded with light! We had the long sofa made for us in Italy and love the quality. Take naps on it during the day or a trundle pulls out from underneath, pops up and voilà you have two single beds at night. The colors are soft beiges and greens, with pretty Provencal checks for the cushions. An antique mirror reflects the sunlight and views. We were not quite finished with the apartment when we took the pictures, so doesn’t include the two arm chair that faces the sofa in a beige fabric.

Step out on the small balcony and enjoy the views over the Paris rooftops. The views don’t stop there, because you have a unique straight-on view of the Ancient Clock Tower of the 7th arrondissement from two windows in the dining area! You will love the feeling of Paris and its history when you feast your eyes on the views from this charming short term apartment.

On the right is a built-in desk to catch up on emails should you desire. We offer free high speed internet and free phone calls. Above the desk is a large flat screen TV so you can watch CNBCand the BBC when you are home. There is also a DVD player which is dual standard, meaning you can bring your favorite movies from home and watch them, whereas regular French DVD players can only play French standard movies. This a rare feature in Paris rentals.

Beyond the living room is the dining area, with contemporary glass and dark wood table and kitchen behind. The table expands to seat six for a dinner with family and friends. Above the table is a beautiful crystal chandelier giving a cozy and welcome feel. Not to be missed is the piece de resistance in this room, the large window with direct view of the Ancient Clock Tower in the 7th arrondissement. It’s a beautiful view day and night. There is another window above the desk with the same view and the abundance of windows means the apartment feels light and high above Paris rooftops. You will so enjoy dining at home, reconnecting with family and friends over easy-to-prepare meals from dishes you have bought at the local markets nearby. When you reserve, we send a 35 page information pack with all of the information you need about the wonderful Open Markets of this arrondissement as well as restaurant recommendations, site seeing ideas and more, so you can hit the ground running.

The kitchen is just beyond the dining table, beautifully designed for convenience in pale beech wood. Find a full sized refrigerator/freezer, combination microwave/convection oven, two burner stove, cappuccino machine plus traditional drip coffee maker, toaster and fine white porcelain dishes. We stock a range of casserole dishes and more, so you can cook and serve with all the equipment you need. Compared to the price for tiny hotel rooms and numerous restaurant meals every day, you'll find the amenities of our special apartments, the views and locations to be an exceptional value.

To the left is the pretty bathroom, tiled in beige Italian marble, with a geometric design in different colors for contrast. The bathroom features a full -sized shower with both fixed and flexible shower heads, a sink and shelves for storage. We install plenty of hooks so you can hang your toilet kits and towels. The water heater is 80 gallons, the largest available for apartment use, so you won’t run out of hot water during your stay in our Paris rental apartment.

Back to the entryway of the short term apartment; walk ahead past the first balcony and step into the bedroom. There is an extra-wide queen-sized bed and another small balcony which you can step out on to enjoy the view of the golden dome of the Invalides Church and Paris rooftop views; you know you are in Paris the moment you step onto the balcony! The bed is high quality and comfortable; we buy them from the same company that supplies beds to luxury hotels in Paris. We have installed a portable air conditioner which vents to the outside so you are comfortable on those warm nights in Paris, a rare plus among Paris apartments.

Find closets on either side of the bedroom balcony and the queen-sized bed on your right. There is a console table on the far wall with flat screen tv and a second dual standard DVD player.

This is a non-smoking apartment and, sorry, but no pets are allowed.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about our Paris short-term apartment rental or if we can help in any way.

Romance, Champagne and Roses in Paris ~A/C~, Left Bank Views!

Year Purchased: 2008

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 6

We tried many Paris neighborhoods over the years and living in an apartment in the 7th arrondissement in Paris offered the best access to everything we love and enjoy! Step outside and enjoy café’ au lait on rue Cler on a sunny morning, stroll to Paris landmarks, museums and monuments, to world class shopping on the Right Bank, to the Orsay Museum, the Louvre, Rodin Museum, Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais, American Library. Take morning walks, picnics & bike rides in the Champs de Mars gardens, to romantic walks home along the river at sunset. It’s a beautiful old quartier near the romantic Seine that has maintained a village-like atmosphere, surrounded by bistros and shops so you can step outside and savor life. It's one of the safest arrondissements in Paris; it offers more open air markets than any arrondissement in Paris. It costs more to invest in the 7th, but to us, it is worth every penny. We greet our butcher, baker and local cheese specialist daily. They know what our favorite cheeses are and make favorite suggestions. They know the exact kind of baguette we want each day, not too brown and crusty for soft cheese. That is what we have been lucky enough to find in our neighborhood and we hope you’ll have a chance to enjoy the same special lifestyle.

Owner's Map of Paris Arrondissement 6

My company transferred me from San Francisco to London for work, and it wasn’t long before I met my husband Philippe on a ski vacation. We were married and bought our first apartment in Paris where Philippe was working as a cardiac surgeon. Friends and family loved staying there for the fantastic location and views – walking distance to cafés, landmarks sights and wonderful shops. They loved the experience of living like a Parisian, shopping in the nearby open air markets for the freshest foods, buying warm baguettes next door, enjoying café au lait on the balcony, eating at affordable brasseries and restaurants that Parisians go to just around the corner. They asked if they could rent our pied-à-terre when we were away, and our Paris apartment rentals business was born! Philippe left medicine for business and we now commute between London and Paris on the Eurostar and have two great children who have French and American citizenship ... and who always point out my French grammar mistakes!

Medoc Apartment

"The apartment was lovely, very quiet and well appointed, close to public transportation. We had our two teenaged girls with us and especially loved that they did not have to share a bed, as the couch had a trundle bed. Bedding was comfortable and plentiful. Appliances were a bit confusing, even with the written instructions, but we did figure them out. It was great to have fast and easy internet access, too."

"We enjoyed the most wonderful stay in the Medoc apartment between Christmas and New Year. From the moment we enquired about the apartment's availability, to being greeted at the apartment by Kevin, to having our airport transfer arrange upon leaving, we were always looked after and made to feel like old friends. We would have no hesistation in recommending Paris Perfect to everyone. The apartment was amazing, brilliantly located and, also mentioned above, the service we received was impeccable."

"This is a beautiful apartment, lots of space to spread out, and such a great location on Avenue Rapp. We love staying in this part of Paris and hope to many more times. We highly recommend Au Petit Toneau, Le Petit Troquet, and New Jawad restaurants, all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. The Paris Perfect team are extremely helpful and always look out for their clients. Thanks again for helping make our stay comfortable and fun!"

"Our stay at the Medoc (October 13-27) was just perfect. The apartment is splendid...immaculately clean and comfortable, light, airy, and blissfully quiet, beautifully furnished, and situated in an absolutely wonderful location in the 7th. We loved living like Parisians for two weeks...buying baguettes, croissants, pastries, cheeses, wines, flowers...all on Rue Saint-Dominique or the magnificent Rue Cler market. And walking out of the building to look up and see the Eiffel Tower was thrilling--day and night. The neighborhood is simply the best in Paris. The communication with Paris Perfect staff was exceptional in planning our trip, and in welcoming us to the city. The Paris Perfect guidebook was outstanding and we followed your recommendations religiously...and we were never disappointed, including those for the outstanding local restaurants. We lived well!!!"

"Medoc was a lovely apartment to call home while we were in Paris. My husband and I loved the Nespresso machine, particularly! The pictures on the website are truely how the apartment appears- our two weeks were very sunny and the apartment was very bright in the morning. The Paris Perfect staff was very helpful in allowing me to borrow their computer to book tickets for the Eiffel Tower, saving my family time stand standing in line. I would recommend Medoc and Paris Perfect to anyone who is looking for a beautiful apartment and a reputable, professional rental company with an in Paris team (I walked to their office in 5 minutes)."

"Cerebral experience" The Medoc apartment is a lovely place to stay in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. The ladies from Paris Perfect could not have been nicer, nor the service better. The decor of the apartment was very stylish and complete, with the location near the Bramley Museum and local restaurants perfect. Taking the elevator to the apartment is something of an adventure but, once inside, c'est tres confortable. I recommend completely doing business with this firm."

Date of Stay: 05/04/10 Review Submitted: 06/12/10

“My 13 year old granddaughter and I stayed at the Medoc apartment for her much anticipated first trip to Paris. We were late in booking and the apartment we originally wanted was unavailable, so Paris Perfect offered us Medoc at the same rate as the unavailable apartment (Medoc was originally more expensive). The location is excellent. Although there is no view of the Eiffel Tower, a very short walk just around the corner from the apartment puts you almost at the base of the ET. The apartment was small, but cozy, and had everything we needed. My granddaughter loves small spaces, absolutely loved the apartment, and daydreamed (and still daydreams) about living there permanently. The elevator is the tiniest elevator we had ever seen and we were intially a bit worried about using it. But we quickly got over that and used it regularly. Although it was out of order one day, it was quickly repaired. The apartment is conveniently located to walk to shops, markets, sightsee, catch the Metro, bus and RER, and get anywhere we wanted to go. Being able to eat in in the evenings after long days of seeing the sites, biking, enjoying the museums, making a day trip to London, etc., was such a treat. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely and we always felt perfectly safe. We look forward to our next trip to beautiful Paris and will definitely stay in a Paris Perfect apartment again (and hopefully again and again!)."
