Our large Gigondas Paris short-term apartment rental is located on the Left Bank in the center of Paris, measures over 2,000 square feet, has the feel of a luxury ocean liner of the 1930s with its vaulted wooden ceilings, vast array of windows, and large patio. Located on the fifth and sixth floors of a modern building across the street from the beautiful gardens of Champ de Mars, it features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and awesome views of the Eiffel Tower from the kitchen, through skylights in the living room, and from three of the bedrooms!
Ride the large elevator to the 5th floor (6th American) and enter our Paris short-term apartment rental to a small entryway with a small bedroom straight ahead and the stairway leading up to the main floor on the right. This small bedroom has a single bed facing a French door, a small balcony for stepping out and enjoying the views, and a small en-suite bathroom with a shower and sink. A toilet is located just outside the bedroom in an adjacent water closet.
Walk up a short flight of stairs and prepare to be overwhelmed. Awaiting you is an enormous living and dining room with stunning vaulted wooden ceilings, skylights, large windows in every direction, and a large patio sitting outside walls of glass. As you crest the stairway, the spacious living and dining room opens ahead and to the right, with the large and impressive kitchen off the back of this room to the right. At the top of the stairs to the left is a long built-in bar with four form-fitting barstools extending along the hallway that leads to the back bedrooms. The patio sits beyond the glass wall opposite the bar, with another glass wall of the patio facing the living room. A third glass wall of this patio faces one of the bedrooms.
The bar is an artistic masterpiece and a convivial meeting point for champagne and aperitifs at the end of a long day of sightseeing. It is tiled in traditional dark blue French tiles, trimmed in black, and topped with an array of suspended modern light fixtures. Up behind the bar sits a raised alcove that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view through the skylights. Custom cushions make it an ideal place to read, relax, and enjoy the views through the skylights. Children love to use it as a play area and at night it’s hard to get them away from their special corner.
