To celebrate my birthday last year, we spent a week on the Big Island. It was a terrific vacation, filled with adventure, fun and good food. The condo was everything we hoped for: quiet, spacious, updated, clean and in a nice location. The pool was directly off our patio, and although we only used it a few times, we had it mostly to ourselves. The neighbors were very friendly and eager to offer suggestions for restaurants and places to see. Parking was never an issue and we always found a spot right outside the door. The rooms were all decorated in a tasteful island theme. We loved having 2 bathrooms and not having to share! The listing's photos make us long to return, which we're already talking about. Just an fyi--beware of the front door lock. It was very difficult to get in and out. Nevertheless, pick up the "blue book" (hawaii ultimate guidebook) and start to plan your stay. We loved it! Mahalo

Beautiful Condo - Everything is New - Great Location

We stayed at this unit for two weeks and it was absolutely terrific. The bedrooms each have king-sized beds which were very comfortable. The rooms are nice sizes and all have ceiling fans if you need them. The sofa bed was comfy, too. We had five people staying at this condo and there was plenty of room for all of us. Each bathroom is very nice and has plenty of towels for everyone! The kitchen is so beautiful with it's granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It was well stocked with all the cookware you need to make a home-cooked meal. The living room was nice too, but we spent much of our time on the lanai enjoying the warm Hawaiian breezes while we drank our morning Kona coffee or watched the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The unit is meticulously clean and very nicely decorated. It was quiet and peaceful there, too. The pool is so close you feel like it belongs to only you. Our kids loved swimming in the late afternoons and we hardly ever saw anyone else using the pool the whole time we were there. If you like to golf, it's literally in your backyard. We don't golf, but my husband and sons went to the driving range a few times just to drive golf balls. There is a grocery store within walking distance, which makes it very convenient if you need to get something. Hapuna Beach is only a short 15-20 minute drive and it's absolutely spectacular. We have never seen a beach more beautiful. There are chairs and towels for your use at the condo, which is very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We are planning our next trip back in the summer of 2012 and plan on staying in this same unit. Highly recommend this condo!
