Our lovely Cypress log home was completed Feb. 2008, We have 3 bedrooms , 1 queen, 2 twins(can
convert to king) and 1 king size bed. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom, downstairs is
the Master bedroom and bath, living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a large porch that is
covered to see the lovely views in all our our beautiful seasons. All linens and dishes are provided, 2 TV's, VCR & DVd. Internet access. Lovely views.

We stayed here july 2012. We have 3 children... 16..13... and 5. We found the house to be plenty for us. The only exception was the table only had seating for 4. But we enjoyed our meals out on the big porch and were just fine. We really enjoyed walking the neighborhood each night and walked to the beautiful red barn each day for our strolls. Everyone was super friendley . We enjoyed many falls..hiking.. elk.. and even made it to the biltmore. Soco falls is beautiful and very close to the cabin!! We were lucky to see a huge elk just acrosd campbells creek. We really enjoyed our visit. High speed was great too....owner was easy to contact and wkd well with us.Owner response: I am glad they seemed to have a great time. Sorry about the chair situation but there a 2 folding chairs in the pantry in the kitchen that donot go with the set but provide extra seating at the table and there is one wooden chair in the masterbedroom. I'm sorry they were overlooked.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend 2010. The home is very well maintained and well stocked with all of the home away from home essentials you need to make it yours during your stay. The location is insanely close to Cataloochee and equidistant between Asheville and Cherokee. There is plenty of space for 6-8 guests to spread out comfortably. The back patio is large and spacious and offers truly relaxing views. The TV in the main room offers component hook ups so bring your game console or Apple component connected device for some fun after a long day of skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee ski area. We loved this place so much that we are staying again over the holiday season and hopefully many more times after that.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
