We had a dreamy family vacation at the home. The owner was kind and easy to work with. The home (The Ridge) was perfect for our large family and the kids had a ball. The furnishings were top knotch and the home was as indicated "very unique" and different from all the other log cabins. We especially loved the privacy and location of the home. Thanks! D

This house is awesome, our family has stayed there a few times both summer and winter. The house is large and very well laid out for large groups. We stayed there in the summer with our entire extended family and had a great time. There are ATV trails right from the cabin and everyone loves to spend the afternoon at the huge beach that's less than 10 minutes away. The house is very nice and very clean and it's fun just being there in the mountains over looking the lake. I would recommend this rental to anyone who likes to get out and have fun.

We had several families looking for a vacation together and it couldn't have turned out better. We were nervous to share the same home and avoid feeling 'on top of each other' but the layout of the cabin turned out to be pretty much awsome at accomodating all of us. It helped also that there were so many things to to do around there where everyone could find something they loved even if that meant just sitting on the porch taking in the gorgeous views all day long. I have to admit I am a skeptic and tend to expect things to turn out not quite like the pictures (so to speak) but this time it truly turned out to be better than expected. My guess is that photos just can't do a place like this justice so here I am writing a review for the first time in my life and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The Ridge is all that we wanted and more! Without a layout of the basement, I was pleased with the large family room area for table tennis, TV, toys, huge beanbag chairs with the hot tub right outside. All sleeping areas are a distance apart. Individual families felt like they had their own areas. The modern decor adds to the occasion...bright and fun! The furnishings are very nice. Everything you need is there for a high-life vacation stay. It is well cared for and adaptable for all ages of guests. This property is private and quiet. We saw a moose within three feet of the house along with deer and other small wildlife! The owner was wonderful to work with, always getting back to me within hours. One heads up is that the driveway is steep with a switchback. It's workable, however, since there is a small parking area for trailers before the switchback. This property is located on a hill. This wasn't a problem...it just gave seclusion and a beautiful view of Bear Lake. I would go back to the property anytime. It was well worth the money and the memories we enjoyed while there.
