Our unit is a luxurious third floor condominium located on the very tip of the Isles of Capri in the La Peninsula gated community. The views from our balcony are of the Marco River and the Gulf of Mexico. We are located in a beautiful and quiet community. Being directly on the water lets you watch the Gulf of Mexico, the Marco River, and Marco Island from the master bedroom, master bathroom, and living room. You can even watch the dolphins, birds, and a vast assortment of boats sail by from the screened-in lanai all while having breakfast!
The unit is a large 1750 square foot floor plan, with a 200 square foot lanai. There is a in-unit full size washer and dryer, spacious walk-in closets, full baths in both bedrooms with double sinks, separate tub and shower in master bath. The lanai is equipped with a dining table, an umbrella for shade, 4 chairs, and 2 lounges for relaxing and sunbathing.
There is tile throughout the kitchen, dining room, and both bathrooms; there is Berber carpet everywhere else. The unit is fully wheelchair accessible by elevator (there are two steps just outside the unit) with a covered private parking spot for one car. There is plentiful guest parking as well.
A quick trip down the elevator, and a short few steps bring you to the beautiful pool, and hot tub. Other amenities included are a workout room, clubhouse, saunas in both locker rooms, and 4 professional quality clay tennis courts. Fishing is just a few steps from the front door as well. If you are a golf fanatic then this is the place for you as there are golf courses plentiful throughout the area.
You can rent kayaks, motor boats, pontoons and jet-skis right on the Isles of Capri. Boat charters and even more rentals are available on Marco Island as well.
The Isles of Capri are a small chain of islands just north of Marco Island and south of Naples with minimal automotive traffic. There are a few great restaurants on the Isle, and even more on Marco Island. Our unit is the perfect answer to your vacation needs; it’s secluded, quiet, and tucked away for those looking for a nice relaxing trip. Those that want some more excitement can find it in Naples and on Marco!

What a fantastic condo. The south-facing view guarantees basking on the lanai in the warmth of Feb sun, even when our friends further north on the Gulf coast were complaining that it was too cold to sit outside. Guess where we were from morning til night. The condo is everything the owners say it is. Clean, modern and oh so spacious. Love watching the boats, both commercial and recreational pass by us. Then there were the dolphins frolicking at our doorstep. The condo is perfectly located in terms of the water - almost close enough to touch. Once we pulled ourselves away from the condo, we spent time at the Pelican Bend restaurant - not to be missed. Still longing for their oysters and Greuben sandwich.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We spent the month of March 2011 in this condo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is large and comfortable. The photos were accurate in how the condo looked. It was clean and well stocked with household items and linens. The location is wonderful. Watching the boats and dolphins from the lanai never got old. The whole complex: pool, clubhouse, and grounds are beautiful. You can walk to local restaurants which were good and convenient. We would highly recommend this condo to friends and relatives.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.
