The attractive and spacious 1616 sq. ft log cabin is located in the middle of the Pike National Forest, 14 miles northwest of Divide, CO. The cabin and 466 sq. ft. redwood deck overlook the beautiful Wildhorn Lake which attracts abundant deer, elk, wild turkeys, ducks, geese, silver fox and many other wildlife species. It is so quiet one might think he or she may have lost their hearing, except for the soft sound of wind rustling through the pines.
We have welcomed guests to the log home such as pastors who sought privacy, prayer, and men’s retreats; artists and writers who sought natural beauty; vacationers who wanted a comfortable and beautiful home away from city bustle; and off-road enthusiasts, including hikers, mountain bikers, and trail riders who can unload their motorcycles and 4-wheelers at the cabin one time, yet ride for 7 days on 250+ miles of exhilarating and beautiful trails in the Pike National Forest.
This beautiful log cabin sits upon a hill, where you can relax or grill-out on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the wildlife along Wildhorn Lake shoreline below you, after your day of riding, hiking or sightseeing. The cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen with beautiful hickory cabinets and all the major conveniences of home.
