  We have visited Destin several times now and I have to say that this has been the most beautiful unit we've stayed in. We will definitely be back. Everything about the Mediterranea exceeded our expectations. The owners were very easy to work with and were quick to answer any questions we had. We loved that we could walk to nearby restaurants and we were close to everything. What a great place to relax!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  My husband and I booked our vacation shortly after I returned home from Afghanistan and my retirement from the AF. We decided to do it after Labor Day figuring the weather would still be nice but not as crowded and did we ever plan that right. We had no waiting at the restaurants, the beach wasn't crowded, the sunsets were beautiful and our stay at the Mediterranea was awesome, the property is very well kept. The condo was well equiped, comfortable and dealing with owners personnally made the trip very easy. This is the second time in a year we've used VRBO, it won't be our last; it's a great way to take a vacation.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Our experience was wonderful. Condo was clean and very roomy. Easy access to the beach. Nice area. Only thing I would suggest is better lighting in the bedrooms. There were no overhead lights in the ceiling fans. We would definitely come back here again!

  This is an amazing condo. The location and view from the balconys are outstanding. Owner very easy to work with and everything went well. The condo was decorated very tastefully and not over the top "beachy". The amenities are great and the entire place is well taken care of. It never seemed crowded at the pool, which was nice.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I have stayed in this particular unit a few times. It continues to exceed my expectations. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. We always feel at home when we stay the owners have provided everything you might possibly want for. Extra blankets and pillows, beach toys and chairs and floats for children, complimentary beach umbrella and chairs, reserved parking, fully stocked kitchen... I could go on and on. The owners have always been very nice and answer any questions I might have had promptly. These are just a few reasons why we choose this unit over the others!

  We just returned from a week in paradise. The condo was fantastic in every way. Comfortable furniture and beds. Kitchen well stocked. Beach and pool were great. Fitness center has nicer equipment than my local YMCA. We have stayed in Mediterranea and other complexes in Destin over the past 10 years, and this is by far the nicest unit we have stayed in.We stayed in another Mediterranea unit last year that we found on VRBO but was actually rented through an agency. There is no comparison!!! This owner CARES about the condition of the unit. It was spotless...down to the floors. Located within walking distance of great restuarants and shopping. We will absolutely come back to this condo.

  Beautiful condo with comfy beds, lots of space and fantastic view of pool and gulf. We loved the private beach with the complimentary chairs and umbrella. The resort is well-maintained, with a wonderful pool, gym facilities, underground parking, and close to great restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely stay again next year.

  This is a great condo. I've stayed in many places in Destin, and these accomadations have exceeded my expectations. The master bathroom is big with a nice jacuzzi tub, the beds are very comfortable, you even have a washer and dryer, and the balcony has a great view. Not to mention your close to everything.   This is a beautiful place to stay. I enjoyed myself immensely. Best sleep I've had in a while. The included beach umbrella and chairs are a huge plus. The sunsets on the beach are gorgeous. We saw a full moon and rainbow over the ocean all in the same day. Excellent restaurants and premier shopping close by. Thank you !!

  This condo has a beautiful view of the gulf, pool, and grounds. It is a lovely unit with very nice furniture and accessories. The private beach, underground parking, and great location are just a plus. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. We look forward to returning to this condo again.
