Our family lived in the home for 15 years and raised our 4 kids. We moved closer to the High School and look forward to moving back after our youngest graduates. We miss it very much! We have been in the real estate business for almost 30 years!

This place is in a gated community. The beach is incredibly private, Dave was incredibly helpful with everything. At nite when the lights were off it was beautiful to look across the night sky. The beach has volleyball, surfboards, boogie boards, beach balls are also there, but most importantly a place to rinse off your feet after playing in the sand. The place is way bigger than the pictures show, but downstairs is just the right size for a family of 4, or a group of five with one person on the futon or a single person or a couple. This place would be recommended for people who want privacy, who don't smoke and who want to go to bed at nite seeing the ocean and waking up to it in private. Dave addressed all concerns. This is ideal also for going to Disneyland if you want to stay on the beach, it's the shortest drive also, Universal Studios not so much.
Recommended for:Sightseeing.

Our extended family stayed here the last week of March 2011. Everything about our stay was perfect. No one wanted to come home at the end of the trip. There were eighteen of us in the group aged 6 months to late 50's. There was plenty of room-- we didn't feel cramped or crowded at all. The private beach can't be beat. Lots of activities for everyone. Close to the theme parks (Disney, etc.). We even saw whales and dolphins swimming near the beach!! How awesome is that??? Can't say enough great things about the owners or the house. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Dave and Linda, you guys rock!!!

My husband and I recently eloped but still wanted to celebrate our marriage with our immediate families. We were only able to stay for a 3 day weekend but everyone would have loved to stay a week or more! The property was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with towels and other essentials, even a couple of surfboards, boggie boards, and sand toys! We only had 10 people in the house but I could easly see how it could sleep 20. The rooftop patio is a highlight as well as the ocean views from every floor. The home is located on a pristine stretch of the coast.

We stayed at the Surfside House the last week of July and had a wonderful time. Our entire family, including our children and grandchildren stayed comfortably in this spacious house. There are 6 bedrooms and although they are small it was great to have room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The master suite is very large. The kids LOVED the roof top pool and hot tub along with the deck. The private beach spoiled us and we had so much fun playing on the sand, surfing and belly boarding. The house is equipped with surf boards, belly boards and sand toys which was such a nice bonus. The living area of the house is so spacious that we were all able to enjoy being together. The views of the beach are amazing and we were able to spot dolphins most every day. It is a great place to vaction!

I spent the long weekend at this amazing home with my two young children (ages 2 and 4), along with two other families and their young children. We had a wonderful time! The home is spacious, clean, and perfectly located on a private beach. The kids enjoyed flying kites, playing on the nearby playground, building castles in the sand, watching dolphins and sea lions, and swimming in the rooftop pool and spa. Even though we were only there for three days and two nights, our experience was so great that it felt like a true vacation. We have already passed along the information regarding this house to three other interested parties and have inquired about putting a deposit down for next year!

WOW! My family and I rented this wonderful beach property to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary..We had an amazing time!! This property offered everything we could ever ask for.. We had family from age 2 to age 80 and everyone had what they needed...This ocean front property has amazing views from all the floors..We also really enjoyed the roof top Pool, Jaquzzi and BBQ..I would highly reccommend this for your family vacation..It is even better in person than the photos posted show.. If you ever need anything the owner Dave makes himself available, but we didn't need anything, it was fully furnished and PERFECT!! Also, if you need more bedrooms there is a lower 2 bedroom you can inquire about..It was awesome as well, beachfront too!!

Paradise in Surfside!

Our family spent 9 days in beautiful Surfside this past March. This wonderful home was simply unbelievable! We could not have imagined a better location. Each morning, we woke up to the sound of breaking waves and a view that could not be matched. As the morning fog receded, we enjoyed daily walks along the very private beach and surfing in perfect 2-3 foot waves on glassy water. In the afternoons, we made full use of the volleyball court a few steps out the back. The home comfortably accommodated our entire family and several visiting friends. Everyone marveled at the home and it's location. Each level enjoys a completely unobstructed view of the beach and Catalina with large sliding doors that allow the fresh ocean breeze to flow throughout the house. One of the most amazing features of this home is the hot tub and pool on the roof with spectacular views in all directions. The sundeck quickly became one of our favorite spots for the family to enjoy time together. The rooftop BBQ was also a great asset. Surfside is really an ideal location. Charming Seal Beach, Sunset Beach, and world-famous Huntington Beach are but a short distance down PCH. Many great restaurants are within walking distance. Our all-time favorite was Taco Surf, a block to the south. The home was very clean, with new carpets throughout. Numerous bedrooms provided ample privacy and worked perfectly for our party of 10. The neighbors within the gated Surfside colony were friendly and made us feel right at home. The owners were absolutely wonderful and very hospitable. They made our stay one of the most memorable vacations ever. We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for the perfect beach get-a-way! Thanks again!!
