Create a memorable vacation or weekend in this beautiful, 4000 sq. ft. home. There are 4 large Suite-style bedrooms with unique details, and Hood Canal views.

The upper floor Master Suite's amenities include a large covered porch, over sized bathroom with jetted soak tub, king-size bed with a new plush pillow-top mattress, cable TV, DVD/VCR player, and walk-in closet. Adjacent to this is a large separate sitting room with fireplace & private sun porch. The 2nd Bedroom Suite, has a queen-sized bed, sitting area w/built-in bench, writing desk, walk-in closet, all with a great view of the Hood Canal. The 3rd upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed, armoire with cable TV, walk-in closet, & access to the private sun porch. Enjoy the comfort of the 4th bedroom on the main floor, with a king-size bed, its own sitting area, separate outside entry and view.

Enjoy the warm fireplace in the formal sitting room downstairs. A cozy room for conversation or reading.

Perfect for family gatherings, is the open Great Room, which has an inviting river rock fireplace, leather sofas, flat screen TV, and surround sound. This opens into a large gourmet kitchen, with eating bar, granite countertops, S/S appliances, a 6-burner Viking gas range, custom cabinetry, a separate butlers pantry, and walk-in pantry. The dining/nook area in the Great room is a good place to just sit and enjoy beautiful Hood Canal, and Mt. Baker views. From the Great room step out through double glass French doors onto two separate oversized covered porches with outdoor table & chairs, flower beds and a large sloping grass area.

The courtyard in the back of the house is great for outdoor gatherings. The landscaping includes small ponds, shrubbery, blooming cherry trees, hydrangeas, spring and summer blooming flowers.

The best feature about this incredible house is the access to 155' sandy, no-bank, beach and waterfront. This beach is a quite, peaceful place. Take a walk along the shore at low tide and enjoy great sunsets, and beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains.

  • My family stayed at the "Hood Canal Grand Cottage" while attending my niece's wedding in the area. The "Cottage" is actually an elegant home with wonderful views and covered decks that allowed us to really enjoy the exterior beauty that Hood Canal presents. The home is very well appointed. Each room has its own charm and was perfect for our three grown children and spouses. The kitchen is large and has terrific appliances and eating space. The beach is wonderful and very private We were the first guests and were quite pleased with our overall experiece. Mr. Large was a gracious host, who saw to it that our expectations were met or exceeded while very much respecting our privacy. Would definitely recommend a visit.
