With four bedrooms (king bed in master bedroom, king bed in bedroom 2, king bed in bedroom 3, and bunk room with 2 full size bottom and single top bunks in bedroom 4), three full bathrooms (bathroom 1 and 2 in bedroom areas and bathroom 3 accessible to swimmers), and a full kitchen and dining area, you'll have plenty of space to enjoy a first rate lake living experience.
Located just off SC Hwy 6 near Eutawville, SC (approximately 10 miles southeast of Santee, SC), this location allows you access to the massive Santee Cooper lake system (Lake Marion – 110,600 acres, Lake Moultrie – 60,400 acres). Whether you enjoy fishing, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, wildlife viewing, golf, or just relaxing in pristine quiet, this home is situated to take advantage of it all. Enjoy outstanding “big water” views of Lake Marion that are so vast that you may even feel like you are looking across an ocean. Enjoy “sandy bottom” swimming a few steps from the patio across a large landscaped backyard, or fish off the private dock for the catch of a lifetime.
The home is also located within walking distance of Lakeside Marina providing dockside fueling and a convenient place to launch a boat.
Guest Catch (3-16-09): Beautiful spring weather brought out a slew of hungry catfish! While a guest angler was at the marina up the street weighing his 17.5 pound just caught catfish, his wife and sister-in-law looked out on the dock and saw the second rod doubled over and had to run out to the dock in their pajamas and reel in another huge catfish. A lot of laughing and frantic phone calls brought the angler scurrying back to the rescue. There were numerous huge fish landed this week and lots of fresh, sweet deep-fried catfish for all to enjoy.
Owner Catch (3-21-09): Awesome fishing! Caught 9 huge catfish, all weighing in at over 13 pounds each. Largest was 20 pounds. Can you believe we caught them right off our dock! Best tasting fish we’ve had in a long time.
Guest Catch (4-10-09): Enjoyed our stay very much. The catfish were biting - caught 12 with 8 over 25 pounds each.
