Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. The cabin is back in the mountains quite a ways and fortunately our vehicle is "AWD", considering all the snow we had at Christmas! The 4 cabins are down in a hollow, which doesn't afford mountain views, but does have a beautiful creek running by them. Can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating Jeanette is. She's the best! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We were the first family to ever stay in Cabin 1 (4Bed/3Bath) in June/July 2010. It is awesome! I true luxury log home with 2 fireplaces, air hockey, hot tub, 2 flat screen TVs, granite countertops throughout and more. Every family member felt like they had their own luxury suite and the mattresses are so amazing we wanted to take them home! Absolutely awesome experience! The clubhouse is very well appointed and the pool, while somewhat small, was perfect because we were the only ones there every time we went. Nice hiking trail behind the cabin. Lots of privacy. Very relaxing, "lost in the woods" feel. If you're a gourmet cook, you may want to bring your own carving knives, or ovenware. The basics are well provided, but light on serving platters, pyrex, bakeware. Best night's sleep I've had in years. Awake refreshed to deer at your window and birds chirping. A great value and well worth a repeat. It's always cooler in the mountains :-)Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We just returned from a long weekend getaway. There were 4 of us My wife, uncle, aunt, and myself and we were all impressed with the Cabin and its decor. Having stayed at several other cabins in the area, I was especially pleased with the paved roads and ease of access. Really loved how secluded it felt but just a short drive to town. The hot tub was wonderfully relaxing. Jeanette was a pleasure to work with and everything went smoothly. Highly suggest renters take the back way out for some additional scenery.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Jeanette for a quick 4-night family vacation at the beautiful, Wildflower Community "Oconee Creek Cabin." We were fortunate to have fresh snow during our stay as well as several inches of snow already on the ground & in the trees - it was beautiful. It was absolutely a pleasure working with Jeanette - she was very professional, hospitable and easy to work with while making reservations; furthermore, she was equally eager to help throughout our stay if we had any needs or problems. The cabin was gorgeous, very clean, decorated beautifully, and it had all the creature comforts of home...plus some! Hair dryers, laundry detergent, towels, soap, shampoo, etc. were all provided. Unfortunately we had one in the family not feeling well and we were not able to do as much as we would have liked - we didn't make it to the clubhouse, and we only made trips to town for supplies, but all-in-all, it was a beautiful cabin in an exclusive, mountain community, managed by wonderful people, and easily assessible off the 4-lane highway. The Oconee Creek Cabin is peacefully tucked away in the gated mountain community of Wildflower - it was approx. 2 miles to the cabin off the 4-lane by way of the private, gated access roads. Thanks Jeanette & Wildflower - we'd love to come back another time when all are feeling well!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

All we could say was, "WOW". We fell in love with the cabin. It was so beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We saw wild turkeys and a black bear! The kids were so excited. Close to lots of wonderful places to visit. ( Hendersonville was great). The only bad part was that we had to leave. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. You left no stone unturned.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: Robert Ullmann for over a decade was creating upscale residential neighborhoods in the urban environment of Atlanta. About five years ago he started talking about changing gears and started to make his first trips to the Western North Carolina mountains. What he figured out fairly quickly was that he had begun to fall in love with the natural beauty and restorative lifestyle of Western North Carolina.
Why the Owner Chose Franklin:
Robert began to explore the possibilities of creating full-amenity, environmentally sensitive mountain communities planned and built in harmony with their natural surroundings. “There’s a reason people are drawn to these mountains,” says Robert Ullmann, who built a new home for his family in Wildflower. “The wrong kind of development can destroy that; the right kind can help to preserve it. This is not just about higher elevations. It’s also about higher standards.”
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Wildflower has 4 private gated entrances, private paved roads, underground utilities, hiking trails and common areas, and additional amenities tailored to its specific size, topography and personality. Robert built the Wildflower Cabin's of Cabin Cove for the enjoyment of our guests and to explore all that Western North Carolina has to offer. The community is just a few minutes from excellent highways, with area attractions and top-quality health services nearby. And the Wildflower Community offers unbroken, high-elevation views of the national parks and forests that form the very heart of Western North Carolina.
