We are excited to offer you a wonderful vacation on beautiful Sand Lake. Enjoy our lake home located only 30 feet from the sandy shore. Sand Lake is 950 acres with clean, clear water & great Walley, Northern, & Muskie fishing. The lakeshore in front of the cabin is pure sand with a low elevation from the cabin.
Once in the water you can walk out 80 Feet & still be only waist deep, making it very "kid" friendly and perfect for water activities. There is an 80' Aluminum dock with bench seat & "Rave Aqua Jump" raft for your enjoyment. We offer a Paddle boat & kids will spend hours playing on the beach. We have several beach toys, plenty of Adirondeck chairs, and a western exposure to capture the most amazing sunsets. We have a fire pit with plenty of wood for great bonfires under the stars and close to the water.
The house is equipped with all the conveniences of home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. The dining area features hardwood floors, vaulted tongue & groove walls & ceiling and panoramic views of the lake.
The Family room is vaulted with tongue & groove walls & ceiling with large windows for lake views. There is a Plasma TV with Satellite, VCR, DVD player, & Gaming Hook-up. The Up North decor throughout is comfortable & cozy.
The main level offers 2BRs & 2BAs. The first BR, the "Duck" room offers knotty pine walls with a twin over double size bunk bed. The second BR includes its own sliding glass door to a private deck and also features a twin over double size bunk bed.
The upper level loft has it's own deck and includes a queen size bed with futon. The front porch is a popular spot. It's hard to beat with it's panoramic lake views and a nice breeze off the lake. There is also a log futon couch that converts to sleeping.
The large deck includes plenty of lawn furniture, a Weber Gas Grill, great views & it's just steps away from the lake. There is a Kid's Play House which is perfect for art projects & crafts. We offer a Pack-n-Play, booster chair, jogging stroller, 2 kid scooters, games, puzzles, cards, & movies to keep everyone occupied!
It can be hard to find a perfect beach & clear lake to relax & enjoy some family time, but after years of searching we finally found it. Welcome to Sand Lake! Enjoy....
