A beautiful view of the Little Sodus Bay and Lake Ontario is your view off your covered waterfront deck. Boaters and Fisherman have access to a permanent dock on property. Enjoy a swim in the bay off your own dock.
The beautiful deck overlooking the bay is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy a meal after a day on the bay, Lake Ontario, Fair Haven State Park or one of the many nearby destinations. Located on the Seaway Trail between Rochester and Syracuse, you can access within a days drive many world class destinations including the Thousand Islands to the east, Niagara Falls to the west and the Finger Lakes to the south. In your back yard is the Sterling Renaissance Festival. Take a 30 minute drive to the east and visit the maritime museum in Sodus Point where you can still climb to the top of the lighthouse and view the original fernell lens. Visitors come long distances to experience sport fishing on Lake Ontario for Brown Trout, Lake trout, Chinook and Coho Salmon, not to mention small and large mouth bass.
Take a scenic hike to see the glacier formed bluffs or relax on the beach in the second largest State Park in the Finger Lakes, which now includes an 18 hole golf course at affordable prices. A 10 minute drive takes you to the Sterling Nature Center which includes over 1,000 feet of Lake Ontario shoreline as well as numerous wooded trails. One trail leads to a great blue heron rookery. Summer will be here before we know it. Consider a week in June ( some of the best weather of the summer) or September to salmon fish or take a walk to see the beautiful autumn foliage.

We stayed at Disisdaplace for glorious set of days in early October. The weather was phenomenal, and the place was even more so. We had fresh veg, basil, and apples from Pat and Steve's gardens, an incredible view of the bay, and a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. We highly recommend this wonderful place, and we will definitely be back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We have spent three years vacationing at Pat and Steve's cottage, and can't wait to return next year. The cottage is well kept, clean, right on Little Sodus Bay and very comfortable for us, our daughter and our small dog. One of my favorite spots is to sit on the deck and enjoy the view, whether eating a meal, playing a card game, reading a book or just daydreaming while watching the water and activity on the water. We have a boat and enjoy the bay, and easy access to Lake Ontario. Pat and Steve do a wonderful job making you feel at home, and it's a comfort to know that they are close by if you need anything. Looking forward to next year!

The cottage is located directly on Little Sodus Bay. The view from the front deck is exactly like the picture. It is a great place for adults as well as school age children with swimming & boating right off the dock. We're going back next year.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

As always, the cottage was clean. It's our kind of place. Pat and Steve go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Being able to bring our small dog is a huge plus.
