Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Happily married for over 40 years, Jim and Sally have been sweethearts since high school when they were hooked up because of having birthdays on the same day. Although still extremely active in our own custom hardware and software business, we spend as much time as possible with our children and their families. Our oldest lives nearby working as a licensed massage therapist. The middle child lives with his wife in Houston and works as Associate Technical Director for Houston Grand Opera while our youngest (now expecting our first grandchild!) lives and is studying nursing in Denver. Her husband is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado. In addition to our 13 year old Golden Retriever, we have three wonderful "granddogs", two Goldens and a Samoyed. Other fun in our lives include attending concerts by the Detroit Symphony and sightseeing in our Solstice.
Why the Owner Chose Mullett Lake
We inherited this beautiful home after many wonderful and memorable years vacationing with the extended family. Because it has been in the family for so many years, we have first hand experience as to how well suited the house is for family reunions or groups of friends.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Located on an out-of-the-way street, and with 200 feet of lakefront, the property is a perfect getaway that provides privacy in a relaxing, tranquil setting. Being far from city lights, the night sky is spectacular as are the sunsets, viewable from the dock. When family arrives the house lends itself to boisterous activity while the layout of the house gives each person an option of finding individual solitude.

Excellent vacation home. Well maintained and equipped. Great location on quiet street. Close enough to stores and restaurants for convenience, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Our dogs loved the open spaces and swimming in the lake. Wonderful owners who made the entire booking process simple and straightforward. Will definately return.

We stayed at this home for 8 days this summer and had a wonderful time. The house was clean and very large. Lots of room for the kids to play in the basement or the large back yard. Beautiful lake front lot and great location. Very nice bedrooms and linens. The home had all the appliances and kitchen "ware" we could ever need and it was an overall great experience. We'd definitely return to this home for another vacation! Thanks so much!
