Once again Boyne Mountain was our midwestern ski destination of choice, and this house suited our needs perfectly. Our group, which included four adults and six children, was more than excited to arrive back at this cozy home every evening after a full-day of skiing. The kitchen was fully equipped, the furnishings tasteful and comfortable and the layout ideal for combined families with kids. We also made ample use of the ski-in/ski-out option up the road from the house. We highly recommend it to any family or group considering at ski weekend at Boyne.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have a group of eight that has been doing an annual golf weekend for 10 years now. We have stayed in this house for the past 2 years and have had a great time. With four bedrooms and four full baths there is plenty of room for everyone to sleep and get cleaned up after a day on the course. We had previously stayed in the Mountain Cabins but went searching for something with more room. This house more than met our expectations. The living area on the first floor and the large rec room give plenty of space to spread out. The well stocked kitchen and grill make it easy to prepare a great dinner. The great deck and fire pit help to enjoy the outdoors and the privacy of the lot. Wonderful furnishings, well maintained and clean too. It’s a quick drive down to the clubhouse for the early morning tee time on either of the two great golf courses, and close to travel to Boyne City for a night out. The house is truly tremendous. It’s not a question of if will we be back, but when!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a tremendous place to stay. I have rented condos and homes in such places as Orlando,Florida: Franconia Notch, New Hampshire, and Hilton Head, South Carolina. Nothing comes close to this place. From the upscale furnishings, abundance of pine trim, to the quiet beauty of the area, this is a place that I want to return to as soon as I can. Beyond the beauty of this home which is on the backside of Boyne Mountain, there is so much to see and do. Just down the road is the town of Boyne City that overlooks Lake Charlevoix. At the base of this area is located is a beach. There is an outdoor eating area that borders the beach. The Boyne Mountain resort can be reached by walking over the ridge of the "mountain". Such a peaceful place, yet so close to so many things. I would give this place a "6" if I could.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We just rented this home this past weekend for a four family ski trip. The house is better than advertised and the owner was very accommodating to our needs. Two living spaces, beautifully decorated, with a wide open floor plan and lot's of seating. This place feels huge! All four bedrooms are equally nice and each has such close proximity to a full bathroom that you could argue that it has four masters (not all are connected - but they are each directly across the hall - well thought out)! Beds were extremely comfortable and the house is clean, clean, clean. We'll be back next year! Heck, maybe even this Summer for golf! Highly recommended.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had our extended family, parents, kids and their spouses, and grandkids for the week of Fourth of July and we had a blast. We really liked the four bathrooms, fire pit, great bar-b-q grill and deck, upper and lower living spaces. We easily accomodated eight adults and two little ones (4 and 3) Deer Lake is great for little kids and the big kids had their boat for tooling around and fishing. Canoeing on the Jordan River nearby was a blast, as was the zip line at Boyne Mountain. This was our second year here and we're already thinking about next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Two families shared this condo for a ski weekend. It was fabulous. The house was open and spacious. The decor warm and homey and the Reserve itself is quiet and peaceful. It is quite a drive to the main lodge facilities however, and we only drove down to night ski. We would highly recommend this condo for any season.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Beautiful, clean, quiet house. Quite scenic. Loved watching the deer and wild turkeys. Photos are very accurate and reflect the true appearance of the home. The owner is amazing and attended to our every need. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends. The summer time activities at Boyne are endless! It was our fourth summer here and by far the best home we have stayed in!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family of twelve, eight adults, four children had a wonderful stay at Jordan Valley. The four bedroom house with pull out sofa bed was ideal for our use. The house designed with a bath for each bedroom (two up and two down) made our stay very un-complicated. The house has generous common open space both downstairs as well as up. We found the fire pit and and second floor deck very useful and relaxing as added bonuses we hadn't counted on. The Mountain Reserve area is very quiet and scenic. Our only suggestion would be to bring a pitcher if you anticipate the need for one as the fully equipped kitchen is lacking this item. The owners were very helpful and concerned that our stay was pleasant. They maintained constant open lines of communication to address any of our concerns. Would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a fantastic time!!! We loved the seclusion of your home from the Boyne resort but the easy access to all things Boyne. The accommodations were fabulous and even my sister in law (a chef) made many yummy meals in your kitchen. The towels were plush, the beds were comfortable and everything worked beautifully. Thanks again for sharing!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you for the use of your home on The Reserve. We enjoyed it so much. It is much like our own home, so there was an air of homeyness for us. Our rehearsal dinner guests to the home all told us how beautiful it was. And what a great place to host the event. Our daughter and son-in-law talked about making it a destination family summer trip. We will see. Thank you again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
